amira, pls put up more tribal dance steps...i love it alot. You are great. You remind me of one indian actress. You look like her :) Can u show us a hip snap more clearly...is it like the hip drop
Thank you! I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to add any new ones. The hip snap is like a drop, but you emphasize the upward motion and really snap it.
There are no tribal classes in my country. Its such a pity. I really wish if you cld explain to us what is the difference. Did u start off learning tribal or egyptian?
Where are you from? It seems like tribal has really spread all over the world quickly. I started out taking tribal. I have never taken any egyptian classes, so I would not be able to give a complete description of the differences. I bet you could find some really good explanations at shira dot net
I dunno really, I was searching around for Bellydancing classes in my area & it says "Romani/Gypsy" I just started really diving into Belly dancing history and different types a few months ago.
you move so smoothly, I'm jealous, I've been using Amira Mor's DVD's to learn Bellydance (soo much fun, she is awesome)and I wanna take a real class. I've thought about learning the GYpsy style, have you ever done that?
You have a really similar body type to mine, it's always inspiring to see someone that looks closer to myself belly dance so well now that I'll be starting.
Do you have any recommendations for where I can find belly dance costumes more like yours?
Sorry about the delay. I realized that my reply didn't get posted before because it had a website address. Add 3 w's before and a dot com after the store and you'll get their site.
I got this outfit from moondancebellydance. It's the MD126 fluted sleeve choli top ($36) and the 25 yard gypsy skirt ($85). I order these for my students constantly so I remember the prices.

No, that's Amira Mor. I'm just a local teacher that's putting these videos on for my students to practice with.

Are your feet suppose to be in any way? Your skirts so long that I can't tell (but I still love it)

My feet are a little closer than shoulder width apart and they stay flat on the floor.
