I have always loved this movie. Then again, I'm a horror/sci-fi/b-film lover, so this fits perfectly in my taste. I love that it's both futuristic and classic medieval. Yes, it's nowhere close to doing justice for the original epic poem, but come on. This movie is badass. Who cares?

I also love the music playing when Lambert enters here on horseback into the castle. Stunning.

I think it's more like Mad Max, combined with the Cliff's Notes of Beowulf. Add a dash of genetic manipulation gone awry, and serve with really bad lighting, so you can't see how awful it is. :)
