These adam tablets use junk, cheap, TN LCD panels that you find in junk netbooks. For tablets ist either IPS or nothing. You need the viewing angles and readability of IPS panels which the Adam tablet does not have.

the contrast ratio of that screen is so shit, it must be like 50:1

can play 1080p lol so what screen is 600 horizontal lines, at lest Ipad can play 720p

Except you're a fucking idiot, since your almight tampad can't even do widescreen (it's 1024x768) let alone widescreen. Here, let me plug it in directly with my standard HDMI cable... OH WAIT, YOU CAN'T.

Enjoy the shitpad you have, since the Adam's out now $375 = 3.2 MP video conference / general use cam, a better, more useful interface... Instead of ~$600 for a bigger version of the phone w/o a camera (don't worry buy this years'!)

Does the reflective screen hinder the black and white mode?

The Pixel Qi, no offense, is misused with the reflective screen. Can Notion Ink fix that screen?

Nice tablet - I use the Pixel QI technology in my OLPC 'XO' laptop and am happy with it. I look forward to a Linux-based tablet with low power consumption.

well of course, this is just the prototype. They have not finalized the physics engines and especially the software bits.

They r just willing to show it to us before hand, of how it wud turn out (unlike APPLE).
