The current Republicans when they were in the majority behaved like the minority and allowed the Democrats to dictate the agenda. However when Republicans are the minority party, they improve a bit.

The plan would permit those in the country illegally to file income tax returns to get a refund. The government will assign them a number to use on the form since they do not legally have social security numbers. In essences one will be rewarded for breaking the law.

I agree with you, this is not a Stimulus Package, it is a spending bill. Are you aware not one Congressman who voted for the bill read the bill? Also Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi solicited form House members to add their pet projects to the bill. This is pure spending, earmarks, and absolutely nothing to stimulate the economy. If it was to stimulate the economy, then how come a good deal of the spending does not kick in till about 2011?

I am a student, and my parents are public school teachers. So if we want help-we NEED the federal government to help, because if we left it up to our state, they don't think education is important.
