@DENNISTER1 you got it wrong. Tony didn't drop Carrie. Carrie drop Tony, she said it was because Tony couldn't handle the fact that Carrie is more popular than he is. I think Tony's ego sort got in the way. It didn't bother Carrie, but it bugged Tony that Carrie had more fans than he did and he thinks he should be a superstar, where as Carrie doesn't think she is a superstar and doesn't act like one.

I know people complain about the fact, Carrie should write all of her songs, but as she stated before that, if she found another song by songwriter and she loves it, why not sing it. Such as this one and Randy gave his permission and he said he is very much glad do it. Perfect song for vocals.

to Rebaluvr1234, I think you forgot about a song, she wrote completely on her own. The song, "Temporary Home", she wrote that one by herself, the two gentleman who credited with her on album, just supplied the melody, but she had all the words to it.

I think Taylor and Carrie are good. Carrie has had more time to really explore her voice and figure out her sound. Taylor just needs time to grow... That's all. And ya, people should stop ALWAYS bringing up Taylor when it comes to carrie. They are two separate people with two different sounds. :)

@row759 I personally agree, but at the same time it's hard to compare them. Carrie is a POWERHOUSE and Taylor really likes writing her own songs and expressing her feelings in her songs (not saying Carrie doesn't get characters across in her songs cause she DOES!) I personally PREFER Carrie, but I do enjoy quite a few Taylor songs as well. She has grown a lot, but she will never be the vocalist Carrie is I agree. But it's very hard to say I like Carrie better without Taylor fans getting mad lol.

@Rebaluvr1234 Unlike you, I have no problem making a comparison. And it quite simple, Carrie is the better vocalist as a matter of fact, Carrie is the best vocalist out there of any musical genre. Taylor is better songwriter than Carrie, but Carrie is quickly making up ground.

I really couldn't give a crap that someone knows I'm not a huge Taylor Swift fan, but I wouldn't diss anyone that is that was all I was saying :) I do like Carrie like 1,000 times better. But I think that if and when Carrie writes a song (I don't follow her career all that well sorry) it will be a good one. Oh wait no she wrote "Mama's song" right? ETOY & FVOY isn't about what songs you sing it's about how well you sell. Unfortunately it's not about the quality of your vocal ability. If it was Martina McBride and Carrie would be cleaning up every award. Taylor is a talented song writer but lacks in the vocals. But she is what is selling this year. Last year it was Carrie. And so goes the cycle of the country music industry.

@MellifluousMelodies , simply reason money, Taylor was out on tour for 2009 and raking in the money for the industry, whereas Carrie was in the studio working on her "Play On" album. I think this year, I hope it will back normal for Carrie since starting in March she will be on tour.
