A nice touch to such a deep and involving scene, but yes at the same time talking about this film in a serious sense. 2001 does have so many deep references in it and can be read on so many different levels. I like to try and look at the movie and also the book (lets not 4get that! lol), as basically showing man's journey to becoming "God" almost. And i often wonder even now today, that what with secret societies and all that man may in-fact be trying to do that.

This is one of those movies that I don't particularly enjoy, but recommend everyone see just for how big of an impact on everything it has had. There are countless references that you wouldn't get without seeing it.
