The respirator is a non-invasive ventilation system, it is an alternative to the more common tracheal ventilation systems. It functions the same way as an endotracheal tube, forcing air into the lungs, but it is less invasive and much more comfortable. They don't work for everyone but the people who use them tend to be strong proponents.

This is breathtaking, he sums up his life in 8 mintues, he took me in (Todd and him) when I first moved to Glasgow, and it was a blast. He defently lived life like any other exciting young man.
