"And for the main course?" I was expecting Loonette to ask this question in Picky Eaters as well. And as I said before, donuts for the main course=bad idea.
At the Couch Cafe, Moll'y's pretend dinner was just donuts. But, that's not a healthy dinner. On the episodes "Picky Eater" and "Floppy!", Loonette told Molly that it's not healthy eating donuts all the time, especially breakfast, lunch and dinner altogether.
And in Apple of my Eye, Molly saw the donut on the buffet tray next to the muffin. And after finishing off that box of donuts in Part 1, she probably had had enough donuts and opted for the muffin. As Granny said, "Good choice."
Is slurping from your straw rude? I'm thinking it may be, but I'm not sure. (like when ever you're drinking fluids from a straw and you wanna completely finish it off)
If you slurp on your straw from the outside and if it makes noise then yes it is rude. And slurping from your straw trying to completely finish your fluids is equally rude. And it is noisy too.
Well, when you have your elbows on the table, then the table could tilt over (depends on what table it is) and spill your food all over the place and that wouldn't be good. And sometimes some people have problems sitting up straight. So they have to try to sit without putting their elbows on the table.
LOL! When I first saw this, I thought that Molly was still going to say that she wants doughnuts after Loonette said "Anything else?". LOL! Since that's all she wants to eat.
No doubt about that. I was expecting "For the main course?" to also be asked on Picky Eaters as well.
And who could forget that half-full box of donuts that the new Loonette found in Apple of my Eye? As I pointed out, Molly definitely was tempted to eat them..and eat them she did, to the new Loonette's shock.
That's true. And the part after the Foley Family segment, Loonette asks Molly what would she like for dessert. Uh, I think Molly kind of told her that in the main course part: doughnuts. Imagine only having a dinner and dessert with just doughnuts. LOL!
Slurping soup from a spoon and dunking your face in your soup bowl are also bad manners. Putting a knife in your mouth is dangerous because knives are sharp.
Yuck, Loonette is right. Chewing with your mouth wide open and taking food out of your mouth are bad manners. Also, elbows on the table is also bad manners and sometimes a problem for people if they have a hard time sitting up straight at the dinner table.
So far, the character Loonette has been portrayed by two different actresses. Alyson Court (here) played the "original" Loonette. In 2003, she was replaced by Ramona Gilmour-Darling.
i'm 15 so its not like i'm gonn awatch this everyday but its good to know that wen tiem it really rough u can go on and watch somewhere that takes u to a better place in ur head lol
I actually did last night, but the episode I post on YouTube with Molly doing the clock rug stretch (I just deleted it) was the same episode you requested. I recorded last night when suddenly there was not any sound on the episode. I am going to re-record this episode again when it airs on television. My area shows three different episode to each season. The next one I will be seeing is Sunday, January 25th. If I remember to record it.

Yes. And Loonette is right about eating donuts all the time.

Right..which explains why Molly opted for the muffin instead of that donut in Part 3.
As I said before, she probably had had enough donuts after finishing off a half-full box of them in Part 1.
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 2
Looks like Molly's donut wish was granted in this ep..but that all changed with Picky Eaters the following season.
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 2
Yeah. What a coincidence.

Is slurping from your straw rude? I'm thinking it may be, but I'm not sure. (like when ever you're drinking fluids from a straw and you wanna completely finish it off)
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 2
If you slurp on your straw from the outside and if it makes noise then yes it is rude. And slurping from your straw trying to completely finish your fluids is equally rude. And it is noisy too.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
And burping without saying "Excuse me" is very rude and gross. Plus, burping with your mouth open (even in public) is gross, rude and noisy too.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
But what's rude about elbows on the table? I don't get it.
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 2
Well, when you have your elbows on the table, then the table could tilt over (depends on what table it is) and spill your food all over the place and that wouldn't be good. And sometimes some people have problems sitting up straight. So they have to try to sit without putting their elbows on the table.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
They would say something like this:
"If you're able, keep your elbows off the table."
That rhymes.
matthew3alex 2 years ago
Exactly.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
And that's just what Loonette says at 4:08.
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 2
Yep.
matthew3alex 2 years ago
Sometimes I don't either.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
VHS version is Manners for Molly..which I think is an appropriate title.
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 2
And talking with your mouth full of food? Probably the rudest thing of all..but of course, Molly can't do that.
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 7
Yeah, that is very rude to do and it´s gross too. True, Molly can´t do that.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
Ew! You're right.
matthew3alex 2 years ago 2
And making noises with your drink like gurgling any kind of drink in public and at the dinner table is embarrassing and very gross too.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
And a bad manner too.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
Also it's not good manners to reach across the table for food, you should always ask someone to pass the food to you.
matthew3alex 2 years ago 2
Right...nothing could be worse than getting your arms or hands dirty from reaching for that food, or even worse, knocking over the drinks.
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago 4
At 5:44-6:07:
Loonette: "Welcome to the Couch Café. "My name is Loonette and I'll be your server today. "Now, are you ready to order?"
Molly: (doughnuts)
Loonette: "Okay, doughnuts it is. "And for the main course?"
Molly: (more doughnuts)
Loonette: "More doughnuts. "Right. "Anything else?"
LOL! When I first saw this, I thought that Molly was still going to say that she wants doughnuts after Loonette said "Anything else?". LOL! Since that's all she wants to eat.
Bunker0224 2 years ago 3
Molly sure has donuts on the brain.
matthew3alex 2 years ago 2
No doubt about that. I was expecting "For the main course?" to also be asked on Picky Eaters as well.
And who could forget that half-full box of donuts that the new Loonette found in Apple of my Eye? As I pointed out, Molly definitely was tempted to eat them..and eat them she did, to the new Loonette's shock.

At 9:37-9:53 was funny.
(After putting Molly's pinafore on Molly which she dislikes wearing)
Loonette: "What do you think?"
Molly: (thought bubble comes up showing a clown) (Which means Molly saying "I look like a clown")
Loonette: "You look like a clown? "Well, of course you do. "We all do. "Cause it's the Feast of Fools".
Molly: (understanding the meaning of the Feast of Fools, she shakes her head, then enjoying wearing the pinafore)
Bunker0224 2 years ago 2

When Molly asked for her doughnuts to be honey dipped, I think she was referring to Timbits (Canadian doughnut balls which are popular in Canada).
Bunker0224 2 years ago
And when she asked for her chocolate glazed donuts, no doubt they would be eclairs.

That would be from Horsing Around from Season 3.

Slurping soup from a spoon and dunking your face in your soup bowl are also bad manners. Putting a knife in your mouth is dangerous because knives are sharp.
matthew3alex 2 years ago 10
Yeah you´re right. Putting a knife in your mouth can cut you inside your mouth and possibly can kill you too.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
And dunking your face in your soup bowl is disgusting too. And slurping soup from a spoon sounds pretty gross too and it´s noisy.
Bunker0224 2 years ago
Loonette´s right. Chewing with your mouth wide open is VERY gross and taking your food out from your mouth is even more gross too.

Molly: (thinks she looks like a clown with that pinafore)
Loonette: You look like a clown? Well, of course you do.
That's because both of you ARE clowns.
