  • Alle Achtung echt gutes Video

  • very nice.. web cams built into the lap top but i used my digi camara bit heavy but worked ok :p

  • ale rześ muze podłożyl

  • Excellent results and tutorial - any vids of Mars at its current, if 'small', opposition?

  • Sorry, nothing at all. In Berlin the sky is very cloudy since several weeks.

  • is that the moon?

  • Hi, i'm very impressed! but what filter did you use?

  • i alway use a infrared-blocking filter

  • how do you even find the planets in the sky? im always looking for saturn

  • you can use a program like Stellarium on your computer

  • wow very nice man!!!!!!!

i have a telescope too i just buy it

70/700mm i can also see the moon

but i cant find where it is hehe

i have the stars map but it difficult to understand

    :(

soon i make a webcam too for my telescope

  • You are absolutly right. It is difficult to understand a starmap, but with some practise you will have much fun. You wll learn the name of the stars and how to find them. A program like celestia helps a lot.

  • hey thanks for the program name

i wil download it right now,

and i hope to learn something

i dont know much about astronomy

    but i will practice

    thanks alot!

  • Thank you for posting a great video. I am quite impressed with the adapters that you use.

Your webcam has provided an amazing view of Mars!

I am interested in your telescope. It is a f/10 four inch refractor from your prior comment. The views are spectacular and I did not notice any chromatic abberation. Can you tell me the focal length of the eyepiece?

    Best regards,

    Francis J. O'Reilly

  • Thank you for your very nice comments. The eyepiece i have used has a focal length of 15 mm.

  • how much was your telescope?

  • without the okularprojection-device and the japanese eyepiece 500$

  • Need help with this, i use same webcam but with no eyepiece inbetween where is actual site to allow for eyepiece in between?

  • Great !! I think web cams is useful for observation with record. But i think we can try also a canon camera with adapter to keep on the telescope. So We can take better photos .

  • if the digital camera is a SLR you can use the same adapter

  • hey.. aweesomm!! btw, how much does your telescope cost u? and where can i get a nice one?

  • a nice telescope with a mount costs about 500 $, but you have to spend more for very good eyepieces, a motor and other devices. in the internet you will find a lot of dealers.

  • OMG that is awsome.I almost shit when you showed what it looks like in the vid.You could actuly see the polar caps on mars awsome good work thank you.

  • Excellent video! You could teach the TV documentary people a lot about keeping it simple, clear and in context without distracting backgrounds. Well done! I like your planetary videos too. They realistically match the observer's view seen through a typical modern refractor on an average night. Just like being there! Adding a minus violet filter would help to improve contrast and reduce the inevitable false colour with an achromat. I find the Fringe Killer works well. Thanks for sharing.

  • thanks a lot for this comment. i thought it would be nice to add the music from g.f. haendel instaed of using many words.

  • #1 the eypiece is a 1,25 inch standart, which is also used in microscopes

#2 the device between the eyepiece and the telescope is manufactured by a german company, which you can find by searching via google "okularprojektion". there you find everything you need.

#3 the filter is for blocking infrared light

newton: depends on the manufacturer. if the holder for the eypiece is too short, you cant get the picture in focus

  • oo ok..thnx 4 d info.

  • GR8T SCOTT..that is 1 jumbled up eyepiece..how did u get dat eyepiece which can fit nicely 2 d webcam then 3 d tele? n also, theres a filter?? is there barlow lens in it aswell?? can it work on a newton tele? I would like a list of all the pieces so i can experiment it plzzz!!

  • it is very interesting to know from you , but I'm sorry I have not big telescop to look for the stars in the sky , I have just a small one . Thank you for sharing .

    nutier

  • Miau,

hab dich jetzt beim Basteln endeckt, kannst mir mal ein paar Tipps geben !??

  • klar doch. was willst du wissen?

  • sorry, i deleted the question by accident, which telescope i used. it is a chinese refractor with a focus of 1000mm and a aperture of 4 inch.

  • fraken

  • you didnt explain anything.

  • where should i start with? do you want that i explain how a telescope works?

  • TOll!!!!Schöne Perspektiven und sehr ingenieursmäßig und bildlich dargestellt!
