  • TP TIP: I am beginning to save the telephone books left at my door. The pages make good TP substitutes in an emergency. Good video.

  • I enjoyed your video a lot. Thanks for sharing, you have good ideas and a great presentation.

  • Great video, as always, DEMCAD! I always enjoy your presentations and down-to-earth approach. You're spot on!

  • @poodooyou1

I have one in my bugout bag. Having faith helps keep you strong.

  • a good thing about stocking up is u all ways use these items any way

  • Thank you for sharing!

  • Get Canning jars. Seeds. Gun. Sell what you can and get mercury dimes etc.

  • Anti itch cream, Q tips, anything imported like coffee, tea. I mean I would go crazy if I couldn't get a cup of coffee or had a bite that itched. If you don't have room to store food, get a years supply of coffee to trade.

What if we all had to stay inside for a month due to Martial Law etc.

  • @horsehorsehorse400

Amen! There are all sorts of scenarios where we might not be able to get out of our homes. Weather can be a factor as well. I'm definitely with you on the coffee and anti-itch creams. I'd lose my mind without those items. AND don't forget pet food if you have pets.

  • @mmmbad yes, pet food. You can get 100 lb bags at animal feed stores

for about 14 dollars. Same stuff humans use. Grind hulls on oats...

good fiber. Cheap extra food. Also there you can get Corn, Bran, etc.

    flax seed.

  • Here we are, nine months later, and things are still going downhill! ='[.]'=

  • ok its Aug 31 2009. Time tells me that you are dead on.

You have hit the nail on the head. Put some more videos on here. Ill watch.

  • Sir, I give you credit for at least warning people. People do not want to hear this but it is for their own good! People should take time to sit down and think of the things that they use on a daily basis and plan to buy extra. Think about medication, monthly needs, their children's needs, and about their animals. They also need to think about a place to go that is safe if they have to leave their residence. I advise that everyone own at least one gun to defend themselves. God bless!

  • Better to play safe then sorry. Thanks for the caring info. Tampons? How about sanitary napkins. I hate tampons. lol ϋ

  • I hope a bunch of people dump their gold so the price goes back down. I bought gold and I'm not looking back. The fall of the dollar is coming but the question is when?....2011 is my guess but who knows for sure. One thing is certain; there is NO way that we can continue on the same course. It's just a matter of time...tick tock

  • Thanks for at least saying you don't know an exact date. I am mentally exhausted after following all of these people who say "2007.... 2008..... 2009.....2010.... the year it all comes crashing down." I agree, the fall of the dollar is imminent.

  • hey dude the dow just went up over 8200 what ever that means on May 05,2009 Thank for not saying anything about buying guns we slowly coming out of this we may have a good Fouth of July take out all the hotdogs you have inthe freezer

  • Have you read the story Lights Out? If you need a link let me know it is a awesome story you might like.

  • Get pkgs of dental fix, to temp replace lost fillings, etc. Contacts/glasses & solutions. Tampons plug bullet holes (sterile) & make fire starters. Get baby wipes to 'bathe' with, if water is limited. Baby formula/food- save a baby's life. Extra clothes, etc. Bleach, soaps, sterile gloves, footsprays, maps & compass, Propane tanks to cook with. Emerg. blankets, Carmex, medicines/vitamins, batteries, playing cards too. Just a few odd things I thought I'd mention. Anything u use now, get extras!

  • Although I want to stack up, I am prevented from a large-scale effort by my family, who have been through a collapse once. Here are my thoughts for a puny stockpiling effort.

If you think, if will probably be OK, stock up on things that you will consume anyway before they go bad.

multivitamin pills (look at the expiration date). canola oil (edible candle substitute)

    lighters

    soap bars (barter?)

whole wheat pasta (has some protein in it)

    ammunition

    some cash (bank holiday?)

  • Iodized salt can not be used to preserve stuff. My family tried that and we were burned. Get salt without iodine it you choose to stock up on it, which I am not doing. I have been through the USSR collapse, and salt was one of the few products readily available.

  • How soon should I start preparing for these things?

  • Gerald Celente says bad stuff will probably start in June.

  • NOW.. or better yet, last year, the year before. Stock everything imaginable.

  • I also bought solar batteries and solar battery charger so that flashlights/lanterns can last beyond the last time the electricity worked.

  • Also crank LED flashlights and lanterns. Light is important. A camp stove & propane. Garden tools (shovel, hoe, rake) A field guide to edible plants in your area A guide to herbal preparations (do you think you'll have meds?) Water filter Colloidal silver maker First aid kit radio/shortwave vinegar thermal underwear (for Northerners) hiking gear, backpack, sleeping bag, tent, etc... And a couple can openers!
  • I don't have the water filter yet. Have been reading up but haven't sprung for it yet. Suggestions welcome. In the south no need for thermals usually. tonight is is almost 80 degrees. I dont imagine I will get the edible plants guide as I'm sure I would poison my family--even with a guide. I do have most modern meds and 2 doctors in the extended family so hope to be okay there. I don't have a bug out bag yet though I know I should. I am more likely to hunker down in place unless TEOTWAWKI

  • thats a good addon to the list. i got a couple to add, a gun, a tent and car with stuff for getaway plus an escape route planned, incase rioting happens and u need to book it out into the desert. for a non family person like my self i have a truck witha huge bed and a canopy. i dont have stuff but i got a good plan to get to my local desert area and just pitch a tent and live. a crank radio would be a good thing. entertainment is very important to mental health and survival

  • nail clippers is great too. if u don't have nail clippers your nails will be long, uncomfortable, collect dirt, get infected and if they break its really really uncomfortable. after reading the comments there is not one that suggests nail clippers

  • Hi, my name's Greg. Glad to meet you, DEMCAD!

I'm stocking up on whole-grain (and reg) pasta,

rice, bulgar, peanut-butter (protein and energy!),

olive oil, canned tuna, WATER, dried beans, nuts

(canned), cheap vodka/grappa (barter), lemon juice

(a teaspoon a day keeps the rickets away)!, etc.....

Med, hygene, fuel, cloths.... My wife thinks I'm crazy

but I do it for my Daughter and will help us all!

Peace, Luck, Music, Love, Health, Food, Happiness

    Gold & Silver!

  • Most important things! Guns and ammo, and a bow with several arrows! arrows are reusable. You need to have plenty of broad heads and a broad head sharpener. Gaming laws will not keep me from eating!

  • What brought us out of the last collpse during the 90's was the invention of the internet revolution. Unless we have something incredible like that, there's no way out. We're gonna need Zero gravity boots. and it will have to happen int he next 4 years before 2012, besides that there's no way out.

  • if things get this bad you cat buy enough supplies, I dont think thigs will get that bad the market will hit around 6K and them move up again. The question is have we learned our lesson.

  • denial

  • HAHAHA if you think you have enough money to buy 2 years worth of suplies why are you even wathcing this video? lets face it! nobody knows what the next 5 years will bring all we can do is survive untill the asteroids come and wipe us out.

  • Yes we do! It is inevitable already that there's going to be a collapse. People like peter shiff predicted this wouild happen by the detail, even telling who and when would collapse, don't believe read his book. And anyone can afford atleast 1 year worth of supply of food. It's only like 500 dollars. There are companies like e-food that provide these services.

  • Large sponges for taking sponge baths. You only need one book: A COURSE IN MIRACLES. This will teach you that you are NOT your body, you are an immortal soul so theres nothing to worry about. What we are experiencing here on earth is a DREAM.

  • Dont get tampons get mooncup

  • omg...you are talking about surviving for a week not 5 years.

  • Sorry why is food a weapon bc if an army has food it will control thousands and thousands of people dying of hunger.Learn better how to grow your own get plenty of seeds vegetables etc..to survive tooth paste well yea but there are plants that can do the job better than tooth paste do some research unless u want to spent hundreds on tooth paist.

  • You have the land or time to wait to grow a garden lol we will be eating each other long before that.

  • come on man u think its going to be like u imagine.People need to be prepare for dangerous radiation have plenty of food medecine but toilet paper come on.Water is going to be more valuable than gold or siver people will kill for food.Remember food is a weapon

  • Books are good ~ they help to keep ones imagination in gear. In addition to the novels ,how about "How To" books on anything from gardening to fishing to fixing thing on your own...they can be very useful and you can find them at garage sales and flea mkts.

  • U need to buy toilet paper!!! Toilet paper is much softer than the dollar!

  • a banana for obama!

  • Your awesome!

  • He gets ready coz' he can imagine what would happen if he was commander-in-chief .

  • he is ready ..

  • the masses of the poor and hungry will riot! they will scream at the new world order soldiers feed us we are hungry!

  • Yo man, why you making it personal? He's not a bad guy. He's doing his part to alert folks about what's happening. Don't jump and make trouble...

  • Sorry, dog. it just makes me laugh how stupid most of the comments are. even with a whopping 20% unemployment rate, that means 8 out of 10 people are still working...the world won't end, but yes, people will be suffering. but, they won't be having to live on nuts and roots in the wilderness. sure, some kooks will do that, but they are kooks. the earwax and baking soda comments killed me! if you think the end is near, load up on toothpaste NOW, but your teeth will be the least of your worries....

  • I agree with you...people dont even know...why? Cause they dont study nothing that's important , and they have tunnel vision in regards to life in America...their freedom and finances have been eroding for a while...

  • A few live chickens for fresh eggs- we have several - it's easy

  • now that this affects everybody, people want to speak on it but when it was only affecting poor people, nobody gave a sh*t i talked about it in my book, HA.

  • I know many of these are repeats:

    Bottled Water,Canned goods(vegetables, soups, fruit)Cigarette lighters/matches,

    Battery operated fan,Ice,Bread,Peanut Butter,Wind-up radio,Wind-up flashlights,

    Cash,Generator,Oatmeal,Raisins,Protein bars,magnesium flint/knife,extra glasses/contacts/saline,vitamins,

    can opener,liquid bleach(for treating drinkingwater),Toothpaste/shampoo,Blankets,Pet food,nuts,toilet paper/paper towels/kleenex,Aleve,aspirin.

Blueberries are currently in season for planting.

  • nice list,if you have chidren don't forget the board games, monoply will keep'em busy for hours.

  • You forgot the most important thing. GUNS & AMMO! I can help you there on what guns you should get. Check my video response above. Also there are several other things like Gasoline, First Aid Kit & Trauma Kit, Pain & Common Sickness Medicine(Tylenol, Advil, Robitusin, Peptobismol, Childrens Medicine-if you have kids-, Allergy Medicine like Benadryl, etc. Also things like can opener, knives, machetes, sharpener, sweets(with a drastic change in your diet you might experience low sugar levels), etc

  • Great vid! Many pharmacies offer free antibiotics in my area. Just need a script, but good way to stock up!

  • Publix Grocery store (in the South) offers free antibiotics also but only a few select kind. -

Many other places offer the $4.00 Generic Program. (Kroger, Walmart etc.)

If you take daily medication STOCK UP NOW if you can.

  • Really!? You REALLY think that was a "great vid"? i can't believe i wasted my time listening to it. baking soda?? buying books?? earwax remover!!?

why would you buy baking soda when you can buy toothpaste? in hard times, people don't buy books, they can trade them with friends or go to the fickin' library. not EVERYTHING is going to close down. even in the worst of times, businesses are still open. idiot

  • blutius don't be hard on him .. if you watched "the day after tomorow" you'll know how the books can save life

  • If you know anyone who manages or owns a dinner you can have them order you 25lbs. bags of jasmine rice for about $20 a bag from Sysco or US Foods.

  • I predict that tampons will be the black market currency. lol

  • baking soda mix with salt and u get great toothpaste.

where the hell can i get magnesium rock fire starter?

  • Canadian Tire has them. Walmart will probably have one in the camping section. Great to have. Works great. Lasts a long time. Works in the cold and wet.

  • I've already started gardening, but you HAVE to buy the right seeds. Must buy ONLY non-gmo heirloom seeds, so that you can reharvest and replant. Include tobacco seeds, to grow as a cash crop. Fertilizer! Save whatever rainwater you can in 40 gallon cans. Just put them under your gutters instead of letting the water go down the street. Tools!!! That means a good axe(or two), hammer, screwdrivers, nails, screws, pocket knives, shovels, and a machete, etc. Also sharpening stones. Fishing poles!

  • You like plays.... good for you, me too.

  • Me 3. And Doll's house is my 2nd fave, after Pygmalion.

  • thank you.

ahhhhhhhhhh!! Chitty Chitty Bang Bang :)

  • Cleveland! Where is Stewie?

  • Excellent suggestions, I'm heading out to Walmart now to start buying.

  • SALT the body needs salt. And Labradors are to friendly . The biggest med kit you can get with every thing from quick clot and field dressings to your every day bandage. I have seen a scratch tern fatal. Socks I cant stress how important it is to take care of your feet! Foot powder and baby powder to keep dry if you are in the shit and you get wet you are screwed. And always have a go bag handy.

  • Last time I bought tampons in bulk I fell pregnant! Second pregnancy I'd just signed a twelve month gym membership!

Got the marina coil now so no babies and no need for sanitary products! Stocking up with coffee and tinned food, bought 72 toilet rolls! each week i'm spending an extra £30 on food. I know I should have paid off a bit debt but I reackon I need food more than the greedy bankers need my money! In the uk netto and lidle are great budget food stores

  • =0)

    Yes, I'm Reinhardts' brother.

But only in the spirit of serious humor, humorous seriousness, and cryptic choregraphy of poetic prose.

  • If you are diabetic get the doctor to to write you double, or triple the amount of your RX if he would ablige. Love the TP being worth more than the $ bill. Love your vid, peace Demcad lol

  • Tools: an axe, hammer, knife etc.

  • My husband and I were just talking about this subject this morning. We realized we need to get several inhalers for him just in case. It could be the difference between living and dying.

Basically, any meds you need to live, make sure to have extra on hand, if possible.

  • Dem, your positive attitude is priceless. That's the way I try to be too... even though people think the content of what I tell them is depressing it doesn't mean the delivery can't be jolly! hehe

  • I am force to agree this guy got me cracking up!

  • Great Work, DEMCAD!

LOL! Sanitary products & toilet paper - as well as garbage bags, will be PRIME bartering items! As well as wooden matches (that hold up well in damp weather). BOTTLED WATER - figure on a gallon per day per person. Seeds for sprouting will supply fresh food in an emergency.

Antibiotics, pain killers, iodine solution and/or triple antibiotic cream, bandages, any prescription drugs you need, or vitamins you need!

See my channel for vids w/ tips on "stocking up."

  • Make sure you have your food stored properly. Gold and silver is for the war chest. Get your

    -medical kit (anything and everything)

-water purification and filtering kit (kill bacterias, etc)

    -SEEDS

    -Ammunition

    -Blow out pack

Sorry Demcad, I like your videos but alot of this info is redundant and not really helpful. Everyone knows they need personal items and TP. Research seeds, get ammo, firearms. You don't want alot of extra heavy crap laying around. You might have to leave it behind.

  • Don't forgot: -protein powder (whey) -body armor (kevlar vest) -gas masks (extra canisters) -variety of ammo for hunting (bird-shot, buckshot and slugs) -sleeping bags (0-20 degrees) -hunters butchering kit (Walmart 17 bucks) -OFF bug spray -pain pills (if you can get em) -warm clothes (and extra to barter with) -a generator (if you can afford one) -lots of 5 GAL tanks of gasoline/kerosine -extra propane tanks
  • and also if you have a dog

    -a muzzle

    -strong collar/leash or harness

-dog vitamins (cheap 5 buck at walmart)

    -food (check exp dates)

    -cable and ground stake

  • You're right on the button. I got all of that, and then some. Good list.

  • What is the deal on the gas masks?

  • Your list is great. Also, get a grill, matches/lighters, flashlights, kerosene heater (just in case kerosene is still available). Another book that never gets boring is the word of God, the Bible, because the good book is so large and full of wisdom that you can open up and read something new every time! :-)

  • Items

    -Makeup (for trade and barter)

-Food (Even Police have to feed their families)

-Semi automatic pistol(s) and two shotguns

  • Don't forget a crank radio, crank flashlight, razors, first aid- bandaids, bandages, neosporin, OTC meds, economy size bottle of hand sanitizer(many uses) Dial soap (it has antiseptic properties.) Also, 2 things as far as info, books on survival and first aid and make a binder of printed info from the internet. Never know how long you'll have it. Take care.

  • A crank radio is an excellent thing to have. Good idea.

  • I was reading your list on the side bar and it says people should buy "protection". Do you mean condoms or firearms?

  • Both...but especially the latter. LOL

  • Comment removed

  • List is awesome!! For a book to read over and over I say the Bible! Stock up on more water than you think you could ever possible need. It will run out sooner than you think!! soaps, razors, and fill every bottle in your house with water (two liter bottles, etc.)

  • What is the deal on water? It will rain. You just need a way to collect it.

  • SafeArmsReview has a good water cleaning video (cleaning water from natural sources like rivers, etc.)!! its like a 3 part video definitely check it out!!!!!

  • Great vid. I started stocking up on seeds a few months ago and just got some more. You should check up pioneerliving on you tube, she has got some amazing ideas on do it and make it yourself videos. Also if you have the money get a rain barrel to collect rain water. Its great for the garden and toilet. If you cant get a rain barrell just use a trash can. I saw some good vids on you tube that showed that. Take care Reg..Peace out

  • Russia Collapsed in the 1990's with 1000% inflation. When the U.S and UK falls it will be alot worse. Buy a wild food book from amazon - it might save your life.

  • I have been in Russia during the collapse. It sounds amazing, but a lot of things kept functioning, and nobody starved to death. Though most Russians knew how to gather mushrooms and garden.

  • Funny you mentioned tampons....I woke my boss up in Sept, and told him yesterday to make sure he gets stuff for his wife. He hadn't thought about that yet. Also, don't forget the kids, babies, and pets...crayons, coloring books, formulas, diapers, etc.

  • 1. I'm not married (thank goodness)

    2. I don't have any kids (thank goodness)

    3. I don't have any pets (hmmm...maybe I should get a German Shepherd.

  • Shepherd and a shotgun. (got both)

  • the portable toilet allows containment of a health hazard and disposal away from living space/location. a big deal if no running water or freezing cold Alaska.

  • you are obviously more cultured than me with Shakespeare and ballet.

  • This is becoming a Joke

  • go to a doctor ? hell we can't afford to go to the grocery store,a dentist ? can you hear me laughing ?

  • I couldn't afford to pay the doctor, either. But i still went.

    By yeah, i understand.

  • A water purification kit in case the water goes out. Prepare for all utility disruptions.

  • a good thing to do is fill everything possible with water. stuff like those big 18L water cooler bottles, milk jugs, tuperware (duct tape it so that it wont come undone if it falls), pop bottles. spare pots if u can get fitting lid with tape, dont use chemical containors or shampoo bottles. an 18l bottle costs $2.50 and the water bill wont go up very much. btw if u dont like the taste of plastic u wont care if ur thirsty as hell

  • The Bible is a book you can re-read over and over again, as it gives good advice for how to conduct your life, and provides cryptic warnings of what's to come.

  • insecticides!

    repellents and residual control products...

pestilence is a very real danger to food supplies(stored & crop) and to human health/comfort.

also, a quality pest id book would make a nice addition to any library!

Love ya DEM! your vids are great!

  • yeah mouse traps couldnt hurt neither

  • I saw some guy on here saying that Tampons are good field wound dressings?

    Hmm

  • Also canning and dehydration techniques.

  • Dont forget Salt and spices.

Salt is very usefull and it lasts forever, you can make salt meat and it will be good for years.

    Ducktape is also very usefull

  • good points. im in california, and besides letting prisoners out, we're gonna see tighter regulation from the authorities; like complicating simple remodel projects with bullshit, more citations that had previously gone unnoticed, and the army of calif legal teams shaking down real estate owners through handicap compliance shams. I am expecting the state to start taking gestapo methods to get money from people who have visible resources to plunder.

  • anibiotics and antiworm pills (most of these can be bought for livestock without a perscription

  • You forgot to mention lottery tickets and don't just stick to one type, diversify your portfolio (that is called 'prudent investing') and get some scratch-n-win tickets also. Another thing that you have to get is time share condos, can't stress that enough, time shares are something that people forget about until it is too late and they don't have one when they need it. Lottery tickets and time shares people, always 'must have' items.

  • If you can't afford porta potty, bucket-bag-and toilet seat, not the best but it will work.

You can make baking powder from (1Tbs)baking soda, (1 1/2 Tbs)cream of tartar and (1tsp) cornstarch-mix together. So stock staples and spices.

  • great list, 5 gallon buckets will be nice as well, may need to carry water to put into the toliet so that it will flush. Of cource cooking, and heating fuel. seeds for growing a garden dry socks and good shoes as well as both heavy and light clothing, depends where you are at in the country

  • Walk in to a dollar store hook up.

    Clothing pins

    can openers

    etc

    Empty the Mo Fo.

  • I liked the 'Obama still in campaign mode' comment. It's all he's ever done. He's good at it and doesnt know how to do anything else yet. Good chance that nothing much more will be required of him.

  • Plastic toilet is a very good idea. If you don't have the money, at least get a bucket. And if you have the money they sell liquid stuff you can pour into the bucket or toilet that will dissolve 'stuff' so that you can use the toilet several times before you need to empty it.

  • heydanno777 >

"they sell liquid stuff you can pour into the bucket or toilet that will dissolve 'stuff' so that you can use the toilet several times before you need to empty it."

Yeah, I saw that movie too. What was it, Vapooprizer or Evapooprazer? lol.

  • Don't forget the quicklime...

  • Candles. Long Johns,Red Cross radio, swiss army knife. Duct tape, rope, Heavy duty jacket, Insulated hiking boots, oatmeal(Lasts a long time and relatively inexpensive). Survival and urban survival manual, fire extinguisher,Tent, Sleeping bag, Binoculars.

  • Buy tampons for bartering too! Hint, hint.

  • you could be the doomsday pimp

  • LOL!

  • When using baking soda, brush up and down. Side to side will erode your enamel at the gum line.

  • Thanks. I didn't know that.

  • Excellent list Demcad and Veritas. For everyone, I recommend do what you can, while you can. Take care.

  • Buy a big dog, and DON'T BUY A LAB. The best dogs for this task are the Norwegian Elkhound, Boxer, German Shepard, Weimaraner, or Doberman Pinscher. Don't have the dogs outside at the same time, as they can be poisoned. 1 inside, and 1 outside. If you can't, just have 1 inside with you. Buy extra dog food and especially rawhide dog bones. You can supplement lower levels of food with these rawhide bones. Buy cough & cold medicines (mucinex, Robitussin, etc...) Lots of paper and pencils.

  • Why not a lab? I have two and not only are they the smartest dogs in the world, but they are incredible watchdogs and protectors! And they are strong as an ox. Not to mention the best hunting and water dogs. IMO they have it all in one package (including loyalty). I recommend labs for anyone wanting a univeraly great dog for help to what's coming.

  • I'm getting a Lab...I had a Rottie for many years...but he's passed on. I thought about another Rotti....he was a geat, loyal and trustworthy dog, but he was also extremly powerful (and 135 lbs)...so at times during his first 2-3 years..he was a handful..my brother has a nice lab..big one about 110 pounds..he's a good watch dog..and not quite as head strong..and like you said..great water dog/hunter.

  • If you have kids getting a female is the best way to go. As with any breed of dogs, females are much more caring and protective of your children. Just a thought.

  • Labs are not universally good guard dogs. They can be, but they are much more 50/50. They simply aren't a good choice, given that guarding is probably going to the main necessary task for large dogs for the first few years, followed by hunting. You don't have to have dogs to hunt though. I understand you like labs, but that doesn't mean that they are the best or even in the top 5 or 10 of choices for overall usability. Glad you have two good ones though.

  • Well as far as universally the best, I will have to respectfully disagree. Like I said "IMO" they are simply the best all round, all-purpose dog. Have you ever owned a lab? Well we will have to agree that we disagree. Take care.

  • Yeah, we can agree to disagree. And the answer to your question is that I've had extensive experience with multiple breeds, including labs. I myself have owned more than 30 dogs in the last 25 years, and I currently have 4. They are not labs though, for the reasons I mentioned. Take care.

  • I mentioned having a dog on the list one time, but then someone pointed out that if it gets hungry, it may eat me...lol

    Great list.

  • lol

  • Actually, generally a dog won't ever do something like that unless you've died yourself. But havin a dog is essential. Even in a high-crime and desparate environment, a large dog can provide an incredible deterrant. You don't want to have to engage in violence to protect yourself or your family unless you have to. Those with a guard dog or two around or inside the house are going to be less likely to be victimized. This is particularly true if you have a breed that looks and sounds vicious.

  • antibiotics for fish are the same as for humans....

People thought I was crazy when I said this stuff for the last decade... That is ok. My gear is tested and solid.

  • I have been lucky enough to travel out of country every year and know a pharmacist in Belize. Every year, I restock the supplies. Don't think I will get there this year, what with the economy and all. My stashes may run low. No script needed. Same in Mexican tourist towns too.

Also top off your cars with gas. If you have a BBQ make sure you fill the tank or have an extra, you may need to cook on that BBQ.

  • Well if you have 2 of the small hand helds family members can keep in touch. I have used them while traveling and it works pretty good. also you can pick up a good set for 30.00. Sounds like you have your act together. I still have a few things on my list. Good luck!

Definitely get one, you want to increase the size of your pack if you will.

In the wild a large pack has a better chance for survival, the same goes for gangs in the cities!

plus CBs may still work if the government decides to put a blackout on communications, like; land lines, cells, internet, travel. Can you say police state/marshal law. whip type antenna, they work much better, longer range

  • You should buy Silver whether you're rich or poor. Silver will outperform.
