It's ironic. This guy has been branded as evil by the masses, but he says more true things than the masses represent, who themselves are the real evil.
The reason for this is really simple: Manson thought for himself. The masses are taught to think a certain way. That's their function as 'the masses' and that's the only way that they can be controlled and directed to a certain man-made purpose.

Manson's conviction was inevitable, although I think Bugliosi being allowed to tell the Jury about a supposed "Helter Skelter" theory was prejudicial. Bobby Beausoleil was tried first and nearly acquitted. But after Bugliosi and "Helter Skelter" he (Beausoleil) did not have a chance. So yes. Manson in California is guilty of murder. I hear an attorney is preparing a Habeas Corpus after all these years.

He admitted to picking the house, knowing the house, being there before, and that the murders were for money and to free Bobby. In Tex's first LAPD interview he even said Manson never told him to kill and that he never asked "do you feel remorse?" So was he lying then or now? (Either that one or another), throughout the trial Manson was talking a lot about Islam (well, Muslims), the girls were spouting about Islam from the streets, Paul Watkins even spoke a lot about it during the trial-- black Muslims, not Black Panthers as he said. I've spoken to Charlie extensively on it and in the new Robert Hendrickson book coming out SOON has a lot it. ITMG documentary also mentions it.
