Exceed RC = dookie turd machine. I feel so bad telling two of my friends that the trucks they got would prob be an ok starting point. Wrong , Big FAT F . what good is a rc that you cant get parts for , or dont know if its compatible cuz there is no support . ALSO.... I've had constant problems with the slipper clutch and the radio it comes with is a piece of shit and servos not strong enough. Basically with what I spent for the origional and replacement parts and time wasted I could have bought a better truck..... which I did. I ended up getting a T-MAXX3.3 and never looked back. No problems, dependable, fast, durable. JUST REMEMBER, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!

Further, the wheel shafts are so loose in the bearings that the wheels wobble a full 15 degrees. This puts enormous strain on the chasis at full speed (which is also greatly reduced) b/c the wheels r voilently swinging all over the place (yes, nuts r tight, etc...).

Also, the general design is poorly thought out for wrenching on it. I need to remove the engine to take out the tranny also need to remove all the screws to move the tranny just to remove the engine. But wait.... there's more!

The engine crapped out when the crank arm broke and the piston literally fell to pieces. I could see other stress lines showing manufacture defect. This was after the 3rd tank of gas (following all break in procedures). But since this happened 2 months and a week after purchase it wasn't covered by the waranty.......more to follow

You get what you pay for, hell yea the Mad Beast is cheap and compared to nothing it doesnt fall apart or have shitty build quality, but compared to a savage the stock engine and electronics are crap and there is no aftermarket parts to make it more durable
