I remember these guys opening for Dio on the "Sacred Heart" tour, summer of '85! Great band! Paul Shortino's vocals on "Stars" for the Hear-N-Aid project rocked, too!
@Diopriest true, but i dont think theyre doin too bad if there are groups of teens and even some bands being influenced by them liek 20 years later :)
Hey DieRuhe, fuck off. The reason we put our age is to show that we are different from the other young people our age who think long hair is nasty and all rock stars are on drugs and prefer todays country and hip hop stars. And actually with todays sad standards, music is divided into age groups most of the time. Honestly, when you go to a jock/prep house party, are they playing RATT? Hell no, its Nickelback or something. So fuck you and may you be soon delivered from your ignorance.
Paul could sing your pants off! haha When he looked at you from the stage( ima chick so its cool !) he could melt ya. Loved them and knew them, hung out with them in Hollywierd. My best buddy Michael back then was their long time roadie. I miss them!
i've never heard this song because i'm malaysian..but when i check out youtube i find this video..this is the first time iheard this song..and i like this song..anybody know where i can see more 80s band???
I am from the 80's I was 20 in '84. I NEVER heard of these guys, not ONE song... Now I know why.. The only reason I found this video is I was recently watching the Hear N Aid video and the credits showed 5 members of this band in attendance. Must be an LA thing... Explains Heather locklear.
Maybe but they were huge in the 80's unfortunatley they didn't last too long. Too bad. Poor you that you never heard them in the 80's. I'd kill to be able to have seen them in the 80's.
I saw one of their last shows. Great band. Seemed on the verge of breaking out but then they either broke up or Paul left. Now that I think about it, I believe their record company dropped them and then Paul left for Quiet Riot. Too bad because they were a lot better than many of the crappy bands that did hit it big (I'm looking at you, Warrant).
Another crappy video from this awesome band...no wonder I never saw any of these on MTV. They look so unnatural. Oh, well...still love their songs- even after all these years. I wore this album out!
I love the 80's I don't really know why I like ABBA, Quiet Riot, Europe, Poison, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Pat benetar, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot, Osbourne(5 songs) everything that includes Rhoads and Vandenberg, hear 'n aid, Joan Jett, Stevie Knicks and Celine Dion. Don't know why but hey I'd do anything to have been able to live in the 80's it's the music, the style, the hair(you know big hair), the clothes everything. You guys should juts know how lucky you are to have lived in the 80's
I'm 15 born May 1992. Yeah I get that I'd kill to go back in time you know seriously I would love the music. You're very lucky I hope you know that. Sure that would mean that you're older now but the point is you could live in the 80's I'd love to be teenager back then.
If I had a penny for every comment I heard about some average teenager who thought he was special saying "I'm -INSERT TEENAGE AGE HERE- AND I LOVE THIS MUSIC." Nobody gives a fuck. Big deal. You like it, you like it. It's music, it doesn't go to just one particular age group.
The Band Rocks!! To Bad we Don't Have These Strong Metal Bands Today.Ronnie James {"DIO"} Helped Them Get Their Start!" Paul Shortino " Kinda Looks Like A Young Ronnie James !! Ha Ha ........
This song would be a great soundtrack for a movie, Paul's voice is awesome.
