This was pretty epic, and you really felt like this was going to be the end of the series. Honestly, I think they should have just ended the series with 3.
like if you grew close to megaman even though he is only in a game, but it stills feels like you lost someone after finishing the game. espeacially the fact that they only let you continue from where you last finished and you dont really know what happens. hell, the day i finished this game and found out that megaman died i didnt sleep a wink that night.

@PKrising24 It wasn't very well explained, but after megaman forced out Lan from cyberspace and the pulse transmission, megaman somehow made his way to the room inside the "Guardian" system where Grandpa hikari's consciousness used to be to preserve alpha, he's been in there for several months, untill Dr.hikari(Lan's dad) deciphers the message that his father passed on to lan, it was a way to bring Megaman back, some kind of retrieval method.
So many videogames nowadays dont reach out to the player. The plots are simple and straight foward. The graphics may be good but whats the point if when you finish you feel nothing. No feeling of accomplishment or happiness or even sorrow. My friends make fun of me for playing games like this, but I'll play this over COD anyday.
@TeamStarsProduction i always exclude 1 in comparisons. I viewed it more as a prototype for the other games....4 on the other hand had no excuse and was indeed really bad
@Capothekid IMO, BN4 is HEAVILY overhated... it's not perfect (and a bit of a downgrade from BN3) but it certainly isnt as bad as it's made out to be.
@HBLovely3 my problem with 4 is honestly the lack of a true story. ESPECIALLY coming off of BN3 which had the best story of all the BN's IMO. Forcing replayability isn't reallly that cool either imo either, but thats just me
@Capothekid I think the same as you...First one was like "What the hell is going on?" but you get to understand it a little bit, although I hate how stupid the enemies are. The second one has a weird story but it's great due to the ending, the third one was a lot more serious than the other ones and I simply love that! But the fourth one... Tournament... tournament... tournament... save the world... if it wasn't because of me wanting to complete all of them I'd abandoned it without getting far.
@TeamStarsProduction Actually the 5th one is the one I find more amazing, since you can not only play as other characters but also the feeling of getting in a war you have >.< and you must do some strategic attack, which made it win my respect =3!... then would be the third one or the second one for sure... six... one... four...
Yeah... the 4th one... -.-"" I only like "Save Our Planet" xD
@MegaSteadfast Yeah, well... in this case for example... the third one is the one which made me actually cry in the end of it lol... but you're telling it to the wrong person since I always blame gamers who just think on how many things you can kill and/or how much and how good the blood looks LOL...
@NaruichiNH Jajajajaja bien bien xD Yo por mi parte recién los jugué hace poco (terminé el 6 hace como dos o tres semanas) y todavía me falta seguir la otra linea xD (hice la Falzar lol)
@komakoma876 I honestly felt like it was supposed to be the end?
I mean Mega even died.. for real this time. And the game'e epilogue acknowledged his death. If they had actually gone with that, it would have truly been a provocative way to end the series.
Honestly though? I loved 4-6, and I wish they would keep making new ones =\ But then again I'm the last defender of BN.

KirksTv 1 month ago 5
@KirksTv There was no room. Lan grew up. It was over.
How could capcom have possibly made a 7th game?
Hell, Battle Network is one of the only series in the Megaman franchise with a satisfying ending.

god this is so nostalgic...
one of the hardest and saddest parts of the game (f**king ALPHA BUGS!!!) especially when Megaman "died"
this game really had a lot of emotion especially a sense of dread and despair towards the end >.<

OMFG I so loved these games! I wish they would still make sequels. My fav game series ever!
I remember a friend sending this game as a ROM but i got stuck right at the start (yeah the very beginning lmao) and didn't continue.
Then a while later I saw this show on TV and was like: omg I remember this!
And I retried playing the game... BEST DECISION EVER!

compared to 3, 4 was such a big disappointment.

I'd say its a tie between Megaman BN 2 and 3 to be the best ones out there. Third is 6 then 1 then 5 and last would be 4. I hated 4 with a passion.
