Also, the engine isn't mounted sidways the Vh45de's intake manifold is designed funky.. so instead of keeping an inline manifold to cylinder the did it backwards....
@carsnwomen91 engine isnt side way, where do u see that? the intake manifold is just mounted like that. wow your dumb and dont know anything about nissan or infinity. and the motor does not need to be mounted transvers to be awd. most awd cars have inline engines unless its an evo, a volvo, or some german cars.
@silverstonedwolf1 Totally different thing lol. Vortec is just a name GM sticks on lots of engines and means nothing. This is actually a supercharger from a company called Vortech and is completely unrelated. Simple mistake though.
@icystabbedme Actually, GM's use of "Vortec" means a whole lot of something. When they debuted in '96 on the Gen I smallblock, and Mark VI bigblocks, they incorporated changes throughout the engine. Mainly cylinder heads and intake improvements. That is the reason they made more power. The term was carried over to the Gen III and IV smallblocks, since they incorporated an all new design.
hey boss, what super charger are you using and did you remap the ecu or did you go with a standalone fuel management? ive been looking do do this same build for the last year or so and was wondering what rear end you have in there? did you go with the j30 or an r200? and what fmic and rad did you go with? thanks for your time
