who the hell put that woman in power? We are proud of our sterling. Its the best strongest currency as far as i am concerned. I dont want the value of my pound to be variable fk off. if i own a pound it is a fixed value. EU go to hell
@fireicer I wish that I could continue to utilise my country's late deutschen Märke. I cherished my time as a student in England and hope that Farage, Hannan, &c. shall continue to speak against European integration, in particular the monetary and financial amalgamation of powers to Brussels and Straßburg. (One must forgive a Prussian for using the German name for "Strasbourg.") Zum Teufel mit der EU! Cheers, and well stated!
Farage is right about the hedge funds. What is the use of forcing hedge funds out of London to Zurich and Bermuda ? It will destroy London's economic power, in order to make Frankfurt the economic centre of Europe. That cannot be in Britain's interest.
The EU does not help when it comes to regulating the financial markets. It would be better for Britain to run its own economy. Greece should not be in the Euro. It's economy is not strong enough.
We need less regulation, but we need stronger and more appropriate regulation. These regulations will damage the British economy, which is dependant upon Financial Services.
Nigel is the one who should be leader of the UK Conservative Party. At least him or Daniel Hannon. That way once Labour is defeated in 2010, they will never be re-elected.
Conservative party are just blue labour you cant put a cigarette paper in between their policies, UKIP are the only party who actually have different and better policies than the other 3 major parties
I have been hoping and advocating for a joining of forces between Hannan, Helmer, and Farage! They would have a very popular, and unified message that would be quite resonant!
what was his response? I know the Tory brand carries more weight in Brittain, but the libertarian movement is picking up alot of support, He seems like such a natural fit with UKIP, I think that he and Roger Helmer are trying to get the Torries back to a more libertarian position, and Cameron just doesn't seem to be an Effective spokesperson.
Well his assistant actually wrote back just saying that he's a member of the conservatives so to be realistic im not sure of his knowledge of peoples wishes that he would join forces with UKIP. The other day, the BBC talked about the main parties from the elections, those who came behind us were mentioned and UKIP was only mentioned as a radical party and that was it, propaganda huh, they got alot of complaints for this, people are finally waking up to the truth bud. cheers.
The left's only "solution" is more regulation. They might have more credibility if they were actually qualified to work in the sectors they want to regulate.
