Somehow me and my friends all know this ad (even though we're all 90's kids) and we just randomly started quoting it in class, laughs and all....then our friend told us a teacher walked in, stared at us in complete confusion and backed away very slowly indeed.

I remember seeing this ad aged about six and thinking that the robots were the coolest things I'd ever seen. So I badgered and nagged my mother until one evening, a plate of Smash was plonked down in front of me instead of the usual real potatoes. Sweet Jesus of Nazareth.....the stuff tasted VILE. Thirty years on, my stomach still heaves remembering it
