Mandhubala is truly stunning , this is what love these two had. They acted their love out on screen and gave us the meaning of it. We as humans have changed for the worst. I only wished that I lived in those times. It was hard, and a pitty that those beautiful women like Nargis and Madhubala dies so young. Whatever the reason, they gave us the opportunity to make ourselves like them after they passed. Great people. Nutan, Madhbala, nargis have given us some great ones. I love them all.

I was so besotted by this song that I scoured around the net for the full movie....luckily got an absolutely wonderful print to watch. Movie itself is quite brilliant, with a theme far removed from the regular ones, acting top class. The real winner though is Madhubala....I watched in wonderment as she moves from breezy lover to a concerned lover finally to a compassionate human being. Her eyes speak eloquently and her mere presence in the frame elevated the movie several notches. Fabulous!

BR Chopra filed a case against Madhubla as he had signed her for Naya Daur Madhubala got upset at Dilip Kumar for going against her. In the same court Dilip confessed his love for her. Dilip was not in Bombay when she died. He rushed to the Graveyard straight from the Airport. It is very difficult for people to understand somethings which happen when people are madly in love.

She had such a sad story.

Her father was terrible for preventing her from being with the one she loved so much, but if Khatija Akbar's biography of her is accurate, Dilip Kumar never got over his anger and treated her very badly after their breakup, which is more terrible and probably hurt more than what her selfish father did.

It is said that he gave her a real slap in a scene in Mughal-E-Azam and that he wouldn't even see her as she was dying.

Madhubala is immortal. May she rest in peace.

I do not think that is true. Dilip kumar did shun her after their breakup but did not turn violent. That he was not at her bedside when she died was due to his being out of town at the time and also because news of her impending end (and later of the death itself), was not given to him by her family

good person. Madhubala loved him deeply but he wasn't serious about her. In fact when she passed away he didn't once visit her grave. He is nothing compared to
