How does a video on YT lose money for Morning Musume's first singing appearance in the continental US if they're already back in Japan? We can't pay money to see something that has already happened, so having a video up now is harmless... in fact now that it's over the video is more free promotion for the group.
Anime Expo loses money. They think that if you record the whole panel and post it, it's pretty much the same as actually being there. And the people that watch it online watch it for free, instead of paying to watch and listen.
Why do interviews need to be event exclusive? Very little irritates me more than elitism, and the dated "velvet rope" thinking.
They might actually make money if they locked everything down for their own exclusive viewing on their own website or YT channel. But enough ranting. A year from now how consequential is it for them to want this video deleted?
You do realize, of course, that now that you've posted it, UFA is going to track you down, come to your house, and confiscate your camera.
(Were you in the middle row? I was in the right row, and I do recall noticing somebody in the middle row holding a camera juuuust low enough to be out of sight as they entered...)

it wasn't AX who didn't want the fans filming MM doing anything. that rule was set by Up Front. Im not sure why though.
