I still use my 700w. It was originally on Verizon and was flashed to Cricket (for budget reasons). Even though I got every function to work with the Cricket network, I will admit that Cricket IS NOT Verizion! The Phone itself is almost industructable! The power connector is damaged on mine, But I use a dead Treo 680 to charge batteries. (I have FOUR bats.!) so that is not an issue. I will keep this phone untill it quits or blows up or I lose it. Would buy new if they still made them!

Man we used these here for our field technicians. these phones were tanks I personally would drop mine probably 3 or 4 times a day. they would take a serious beating. they don't make em as tough as they used to.

That palm pixie looks so cheaply made next to the classic 700wx ,the bottom line if u have push email,a good youtube downloader ,a good media player to play the youtube video mp4's ,navigation,opera mini or oping mutiple tabs while on the net who needs anything els.

I had one of these, it outlasted all my friends and family cellphones. I had it for 3 years in which i dropped it countless times. They sure don't make phones like that anymore, yes it was slow, big, and it had no wifi but that keyboard was perfect. I miss the keyboard, touchscreen sucks!

This Palm device was great in it's day, and use can still activate the 700w Verizon model if you have an existing account.

Of course it's old, but still has some kick!

i dont know why, but for some fucking reason i hate it when they call the volume thingy a "rocker." just one of those things that instantly pisses me off.

@sexbagelsk8er The Volumer control on the 700 are seperate up/down buttons, However the 680 had a rocker type volume control.

I actually bought my Treo 700wx smartphone for $50, but I was told that I would have to pay $400 just to get it activated. Now I'm thinking that it might be better to just get one of the newer phones of today, one with video chat.. I only bought the Treo 700wx phone because I saw it on CSI NY. I think I'lll just send it to Verizon just so they can have it. From now on, I'm sticking with T-Mobile.

Yeah, My dad still has his treo 755p on sprint. I am trying to make him get a new phone, being that at a younger age I love new technology, but he wont budge. He even told me that the day it breaks on him, which he vows it never will, he just might cry.

i have the Palm Treo 700wx, and it is one the best phones i haveever had.... would give it 5 stars, over the Voygar, ev2,samsung alis, and even over the doid! (my dad has one, they look nice, bu not really.... the touch screen goes a lot, and with the palm it NEVER goes out.

I still own a 700w. Sure it has it's flaws, and i've moved on to the Omnia i910 but its still one of my favorite smartphone's i've owned. Thanks for this throwback! :)

It ran a Microsoft Smartphone 2002 OS, had infrared (no BT) and a stand-by time of up to 96 h and a talk time up to 4 h (860 mAh li-ion battery), but eventually after a year or two I had to charge it every 2 hours. Moreover, this phone supported a SD or MMC card and a seperate camera which was an accessory.

And back in 2003 (when it came out), this was about the only device with Internet and video playback (*.3gp in TCPMP)... Now that's what I'm talking about...

I used to love palm's devices (well I like the ones they make now too lol) but I remember when I was young and I thought that the treos looked so cool and I always wanted one, and then I got a palm pilot which was awesome. Palm OS was actually an awesome OS back in the day.
