  • 9. What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?

    Sun shower?

  • I find it hilarious that people are trying to use "hella" in the comments and they don't even use it right.

  • You know your from California when you stumble on a word for "Raining when the sun is out"... haha. What rain?

  • its a rainbow not a storm;)

  • People born and raised from Toronto, Canada have the same accent. A friend from California pointed this out to me and said that we elongate our 'A's and 'O's the way Cali people do. Who would have thought?!

  • im from Cali & idk if its a Cali thing but i say and call everything the same thing and way lol also wat do u call it wen it rains and its sunny??!

  • Yeah, the one thing I never liked about my home in Berkeley was the boring accents, also 9 is called a Rainbow, though it only happens on a random April or January day every x years.

Too bone dry the rest of the time for that

  • 707 baby

  • 00100

  • bueno! we need a bay area version of this though. hella discrepancies.

  • Nor cal. I knew everything you were gonna say. Hella funny.

  • my voice sounds like that too ( and how I talk ) - because we're Californian babe

  • BAY AREAAAA

  • Not to rain on your parade, Cali, but out of (around) 15 English accents I've heard just recently, Alabama takes the cake. They're the coolest, most casual tribe I ever saw and heard. Thanks for sharing. :)

  • im from california its feb and its 77 degrees outside wtf is rain?

  • The rain falling when the sun is shining happens so rarely in California that we don't even know it has a name!

  • i never noticed this until now, but almost everyone in america says alabama as alabEAma

  • i talk just like that!

    caliiffoorrnia <3

  • I'm from northern California and it's spot on.. That's pretty much how we all say it

  • i hella don't even give a shit. girl you are fine.

  • People who live in california don't particularly have an "accent". There are just certain things that we say that other places may not say.... Thats pretty much it lol like sun shower haha and to whoever said it doesn't rain here in cali when the sun is shinning, it actually does. Not all of california has the same kind of weather. We even get snow sometimes here in southern california lol

  • @monicaanicholee OC ,westminster right here

  • I'm Australian, I think California accents are hell hot. :)

  • Oh and I do not know what it is called when it rains while sunny either lol

  • Im from modesto california and we same everything the same :D

  • u r so hot

  • she has a fairly neutral accent for a cali-girl :P I'm from New York, not the city, the state people seem to think doesnt exsist, and we have an accent too, I hear it every day of my life, and it drives me crazy, i guess i was just born without one.... not sure how it works.

  • for the love of god, number 9 is a sun shower! lol

  • i live and raise in northern california

  • really... californian people what do you eat for being beautiful like this? ;)

  • @marcolino85 Botox..

  • Ummmm.....and I think I am beautiful....therefore I will just speak....and ummmm....LMAO...Give me a break!!!!!

  • lol, I live in Texas, but I used to live in North Cali. It doesnt rain when the suns out.

  • Hahaha. A tropical storm!

  • i'm from north carolina and this doesn't sound like too much of an accent to me. of course the sayings are different, like i call "shopping carts" buggies, and my "grandparents" are mamaw and papaw and "hey guys" is the infamous "hey yall" etc etc.

  • she doesnt have an accent.lol well maybe because i live in san diego ca lol

  • @damienarmy89 I live in sacramento and she dosnt have an accent at all hahaha or maybe we're just used to it

  • sun shower

  • i love this accent

  • @wiwbib Does it actually sound like an accent to you?

  • wow I'm from California and I don't sound like I am at all TT__TT I have a weird accent where you can't tell where I'm from :(

  • @Brynja8 It's basically just a northwestern accent. From about Sacramento up to the tip of Washington, it's essentially the same accent. I live in Norcal and I sound EXACTLY like that, and when I grew up near Seattle everyone sounded like that as well.

  • California is definitely the most neutral accent I can think of. They sound like newscasters.

  • yeah i guess this is how california accents sound.. i'm from cali, and i don't think we have accents (unless someone talks like a valley-girl)... Idk how to explain how I talk LOL

  • Hmmm sexy babe
