  • It sounds like she's saying something after 99 but before luftballons does anyone know what it is?

  • Comment removed

  • @killahkimmyx I don´t think she does. All I hear is "neunundneunzig".

  • thats just how the word ninety nine in german is pronounced. It sounds like it does in english, but with the "zig" at the end

  • Es ist besser auf Deutsch :)

  • @jaxzevideos LOL true

  • @jaxzevideos Nope, they also make a damn good chocolate cake, sausage, beer, they invented what is now the most commonly practiced form of warfare, and probably the biggest achievement today being what you are watching above.

Germany is a lovely country. Someday Ill learn the language and go back and find my ancestral heritage.

  • @jaxzevideos no were great at much much more, just look at our shamwow...only makes cars that jerk off! haha

  • @jaxzevideos and beer.

  • @SuperPepper64 The funny thing is, the German version is more apocalyptic wordwise.

  • New German anthem xD

  • Does Zieh ich Mean I prefer?

  • @FourManArmyHD "heute ziehe ich meine Runden" means "today i do my laps". it makes sense since the next line she talks about seeing the world lying in ruins.

  • I Was In Germany From 95 Until 2000 But I Heard A Song Way Back And Anytime I Heard German Version,I Say Agree German Version Much Much Better Than English.Ich Liebe Dutsche Sprache.

  • If I might raise a point of critique, I think the German flag in the background bites strongly with the lyrics, since the song's message is anti-nationalistic.

The only German thing about it are the lyrics.

  • I love it!!!!:)

  • The German version is way better!

  • aha^^

  • I lovveee this song!!!!!!

  • Ehrfürchtig

  • ich habe sieben kuhe

  • I love being part German!

  • i don't like the german way o speak but this song let's me think about it.

  • ummmmmm thats east german flag wroung flag just saying :)

  • @TheWolf2225 The east german flag it is not. The east german flag had a sickle, hammer, and a drawing compass. This is the parliament flag with the fat eagle. You are correct the normal german flag does not normally have anything in the middle, so I can understand the confusion, it made me look twice, as well!

  • @eldunno73 "BundesFahne" Article(Der,Die oder Das unbekannt(unknown).

  • @eldunno73 "BundesFahne" Article(Der,Die oder Das unbekannt(unknown).The Federal Republic's flag.Die "Ossies" had a parliament also.

  • @johndgray1 Vielen dank. I still love this song!!!!

  • @johndgray1 but did they have a "parliament pfanne"?

  • @eldunno73 Ich Weiss es nicht. Was ist "pfanne"?

  • Das ist die beste. Danka meijn heir! I'm a Prussian/american. Thanks again!

  • Das ist die beste. Danka meijn heir!

  • Ich liebeeeeeeee~~~~~~~(=^3^=)!!!!!!

  • Ich liebe dieses lied.

  • "El Vacoe Matus" as we availians say, or in english "It was divine"

  • ah! i love this song because of the Captain Kirk reference, and because of overall awesomeness.

    *******

  • if theres a country i love even half as much as my home country (switzerland) its probably germany! XD

  • @2010mustang2 I agree

  • Nena makes my Weiner into an Gross Baton !

  • nice work son..a great song. hoffe alles ist gut mit dir.

  • English is descended from german....but then we love all that sounds strange

  • @jagdpanther1944 meh i always thought english was descended from latin and a few other languages but w.e

  • @TheOmagio

a little latin, french, greek, mostly German

  • @TheOmagio most languages from that whole kind of area are thought to be descended from one big, mega indo-european language which is why in all the languages of the area some words are very similar. such as variation of mom, mama, etc. but english, german, finnish, and something else (yiddish?) are all germanic languages. its the romance languages (spanish, french, itallian) that are much more descended from latin, itallian in particular.

  • @Milkpaw to me, German sounds like alot like english, just with a very heavy accent thou xD languages are amazing to know :3

  • @narutojasmine It's interesting you mention that, both English and German are derived from an old Indo-Germanish dialect some time around 400 B.C. (I think). In any case, they are, technically, the same language. For the most part the only difference is word order but there are many others.

  • @SonoTschau Gift in german means poison

  • ja, Klassik rock "Auf 99 sich Luftballnos"

  • I love the German version even though I didn't know what it meant.

The English version is a real downer.

  • I agree. I like the german version but I don't think there's anything wrong with the english version

  • @SuperPepper64 Haha but if you actually understand the German version it's just as bad :)

  • Ich liebe das lied!

  • hell yeah, too bad she had armpit hair haha euuuw

  • @Corialos i agree

  • @Corialos lol indeed

  • @Corialos yeah... german is such a sexy language

  • @Corialos Yes, I do

  • @Corialos Ich stimme zu,

  • @Corialos fuck i do like 110%

  • @zombiekill2 yup

  • @Corialos 'Cuz it's her native toungue, I bet.

  • @Corialos I very much agree, in English it 'almost' sounds forced, like she doesn't want to sing it in English, or just doesn't know what she's singing.

  • @Corialos If you've heard the song on the rockstar video game, GTA: Vice City, they featured this song on one of the radio stations on the game. And guess what, the producers of the game decided to put in the german version of this song because they also thought that the german version was better. =)

  • Awesome song. Original was German anyway.

  • everything is better in german!

  • Ich mag es

  • @TaylorFerg2 ich auch

  • @Punkandfunk420 yeh it is

  • @Punkandfunk420

i thnk it would be cool if goldfinger (english ones) did it in german

  • @Punkandfunk420 True that. The english version can never match the feelings this song gives you while mumbling along to it in German thinking you're cool. hahaha.
