  • Hand down the worst movie I've ever seen. Your a real man if you watch the whole thing.

  • Bad bad bad film

  • For everybody:

it is not a question of being brainwashed by hollywood or a question of low budget or shitty theories like that. This is really one of the worst film I've seen in my entire life. You cannot go furhter than half an hour.

It looks like the movie that me and my cousin used to shoot when we were twelve years old. Just trash it.

  • you guys know that this is illuminati propaganda out of hollywood, just like the movie "the Road" don't you ?! oh damn...

  • I have on _really_ good source that this movie is the worst that's ever made! But it's saving grace is that it's so bad it becomes epic.

  • This is the worst movie I have ever seen. It's not even comically bad, it's just bad. I won't pain my brain with explaining exactly what was bad but trust me.

  • WTF

This evene doesnt look HALF Real

looks like a fucking sick movie u can watch when u are stoned

why is it so difficult to produce a GOOD / Real-Looking zombie movie ?

28 days and weeks are VEry good

But this was it ... there are no more better zombie movies

    THIS SUCKS !!!!

  • i liked this movie but me n my lil brother coulda made it in the backyard wit a few homeless ppl but 4/5 star

  • A giant corporation has eradicated a large percentage of the urban dwelling population with an experimental drug?....do you like...UMBRELLA?!!!WOW..original jajajajajajajajajajjajajajjajajajajajajajajaajaj

  • this movie is one of the worst i've seen

  • Really? What did you dislike about it?

  • @TravisTStevens

Mate this bunch of clowns wouldn't know an indie film if it bit them on the butt.

The hollywood machine has brainwashed them beyond salvation.

This film is better than most that hollywood can do because it's got real actors and a conspiracy-driven storyline.

  • @mausmausmaus1 agreed

  • its exposes secret plans of the world government..its not just a zombie movie...the swine flue vaccination was part of a depopulation plan. wake up

  • @itsAndrogyn

    Bang on Andro!

The NWO has basically fcked over humanity and it's up the survivors to get their sht together and take on the powers that be.

Some people need to take a walk down the capital cities and see what I mean.

  • yeay, a bad zombie movie featuring a bad chuck norris copy. two thumbs up !

  • Chuck Norris? What?

  • this guy with the beard appears to be a bad chuck norris copy.

  • bahahahaha!

looks like someone drew on the zombie makeup with a sharpie!

  • HAHAHA the main character looks like part of a "Scary movie" cast lol just weird

  • This movie is frickin hilarious! It's supposed to a horror, but i think its more of a comedy! You need to see this movie youre going to laugh your ass off!... Grtz Troy!

  • ahhhrrr

  • screw hollywood, i love films like this, independent films kick hollywoods ass

  • damn straight all hollywood films are is a bunch of hype...and u see all the good parts in the commercials most of the time.

  • 28 days later and weeks later dominate this.

  • No way man, they were set in urban zones and too left-wing. The vanguard rocks as it's anti socialism and more for the individual rather than the group.

  • I'm not trying to say anything bad about the movie, since I haven't seen it (and it does look pretty good) but it seems that if the setting of the film is in a devestatingly overpopulated world, you would think there isn't a large unpopulated countryside....seems like a minor plot hole. I think I'm gonna watch this movie later, I love zombie movies (or similar to zombie)

  • Hey, thanks for the comment. The film starts after a giant corporation has eradicated a large percentage of the urban dwelling population with an experimental drug.

Some survivors have retreated into the country side where there are less of the Biosyns to deal with, and one can eek out a life. A bloody life, but still better than being trapped in a building with thousands of these monsters running around.

    Def, check it out.

  • actually there is some awesome scenes.

what got to me was that in the beginning there was so much promise but it just didnt deliver.

like when he said " damn i miss my rifle" and then when he got one nohing special happened i though he was about to tear shit up.

Too many seeds not enough sprouting.

  • if i was a terrorist i would suicide bomb the fuck out of this movie.

  • Hahahaha....while I dont agree with your review, it is pretty awesome!

  • i beg to differ simply because i myself was subject to vomit of the mind due to this cinema, i know my argument must seem rather one sided, however i vowed to express my disappointment in what could have been a rather decent film had the plot been explained more, what the bloody hell is a biosyn, i don't know because the movie was absolute bollocks, it confused and confounded me, and i believed with some confidence that a simple "zombie" film wouldn't do that to me the plot was absolute rubish

  • if the movie were filmed in Scotland maybe it wouldn't look as though every third frame of the movie were "stock footage" for instance those helicopters, stock footage, it looked like a very poorly filmed and directed students project, if this were to be turned in i have very little doubt that the professor would vomit profusely with rage, and do forgive me if my language is a tad vulgar or at the least lacking eloquence

  • Yes. Sean Connery is a fantastic actor. His performance in Zardoz is exquiste. And it isn't that your language is vulgar, but that what you are saying is just silly.

Vomit with Rage? Over a movie? I would seriously consider enrolling somewhere else.

  • i know full well that Sean Connery is indeed a Scotsman, however im stating that an actor of his caliber couldn't even save this film, for fuck's sake the man was knighted his formal title is Sir Sean Connery

  • this "film" if you want to call it that was an abomination of modern cinema, i firmly believe that the world would have been a better place had this piece of shit never been released, it was long, it was boring, it was bullshit.

  • Yes Mr. Stalin, between this movie and the genocide in Darfur I don't even know how we manage to get out of bed in the morning...

  • and as far as the british indie film question is concerned, there is no bais towards British indie films, however there is a bias against total atrocities of catastrophic proportions, aka this film... not even Sean Connery could make this film better and that is a true testament as to how horrible this film was

  • True, true. It is a sad day when not even an Enlgish icon, an English superstar, an English born, raised and championed national treasure like Sean Connery can save an English movie. Imagine if the movie had been made in Scotland!

  • no me gustó la verdad. pero si la hacian mas gore, hubiera sido entrete verla, con algo de ganya.

  • Was this actually ment as a movie?

  • Yes. Why? Did you try to eat it?

  • HAHAHAHA

  • i saw it in cinema great

  • wll UK movies suck balls generally lol

30 days after was good but not everyone is makin thoose same movies

  • this movie sucks balls, cheers

  • It's a shame the film couldn't be as epic as the trailer.

    "We are the Vanguard...."

  • Awesome movie. Could have done with a little more plot (why was the AWOL guy taking him south if he didnt believe in him?) but you cant have everything. Great performances from all.

  • Hmm interesting question. The movie is great. Out now. Go check it out.

  • What is with the metallic sound coming when he is striking the zombies with axes? The sound effects sounded a bit off but the movie looked promising though I could be wrong.

  • This movie was awesome!!! I loved everything about it!!!!

  • RIGHT?!!!! It is like the most thoughtful approach to a Zombie film ever!

  • This movie was more of a comedie then anything else , I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the guy on his bike at the beginning of the movie .

  • Congratulations to Matt, Modsrule, the gorgeous Christopher Hatherall and everyone else involved in making this film. It's a shame but sad truth of life that people who have no idea the courage, determination and warrior spirit it takes to make a film are always the quickest to be disparaging about them. Good on ya Matt. Not many people could do what you've done. Let it be the first of many to follow my man !!! KC x

  • Well said, the trouble is people all over the world are drip fed the hollywood bs ideal that is brainwashing folk into thinking 'mainstream' is the best of the best. This is why so many haters and fools are coming out with the garbage about this on You Tube.

Not at all, movies like this get you thinking and listening to the characters and what they are telling in the story.

Try getting that with a lot of the dumbed down films getting spewed forth from hollywood ;)

  • this is a wicked film and was so fun to be part of!

i was one of the zombies on the set where we all run towards the fela when he is down on the floor in the woods.

is that scene still in it?

    10/10!

  • It sure is man.

  • you have a bad taste...

    commit a suicide...

  • this movie is pure recycled garbage. yet another predictable storyline, followed by shit for special effects and lack of acting skill. you will enjoy this movie, so long as you enjoy the smell in the bathroom after someone took a rotten shit.

  • it's true! as far as movies go, this one sucks the big one!

  • Oh, come on!!!! Same zombie scenarios written/retold over and over again? Is there no end for this crap??

  • Бред

  • my opinion?

the some of the uk movie (indie or not) are better then most other european movie,ok some french movie are good to,(especially some action movie) sure better then more italian movie,we are not good to made action movie,or horror (70s dario argento is one ecception...)by the way,the vanguard is good low budget movie

  • i cant beleive the comments im reading!?!? you fucking americans are so full of yourselves! the only reason you think all uk indie films have zombies in is because there the only ones that make it to the US (because u dont understand the usual uk indie dialogue based films that we make). i just watched this film today and thought it was truly amazing. i love the low budget, the unknown actors nicely placed yet unsubtle gore. america makes shit films, always has always will.

  • Planet Terror. Was not a shit film. I was in it........Also I am proud to be an American.

British indie films are great. Have a nice day.

  • low budget

  • And?

  • You are definetly right. All english movies have zombies in and are about the future.. Not very good effets though. England is a pretty advanced country economicaly i mean, and not only, why is the film industry ''behind'?

  • seriously, uk movies are all about zombies.

at least every_single_one_of_them has a zombie in it.

are zombies seriously the shit in england? :)

  • Every single one??

    Are you a complete retard?

Those zombies in 'Love Actually' ?? As a commercial example - lol

And the many other UK films that kick ass and win awards.

    Descent, Dog Soldiers .... Moron!!!

    Where's my hammer?

  • Haha, dont get it on your heart, bro!:D

I was just saying, that a good handful of UK films are about zombies. (at least compare by percentage with any other nations. Germans? French? Chinese? Hungarian, or YOU NAME IT.)

English movies have waay too many zombies. And this particular one sucks - my oppinion.

Btw, Love Actually? Rowan Atkinson! :)

    (just in case: i love R.A., so don't reply that i'm a hater:D)

  • Can never have 'too' many Zombies!

    My opinion!

But if you compare the size of USA to UK- and then check imdb for zombie movies from that country- then i'm sure the yanks make more Zombie movies-in comparison. (and better- with exception to 28 Days that is)-which isn't really a Zom Movie anyway.

  • could be true acutally.

what i was saying is that by percentage i think there's more zombi movies in the uk, than in other nations.

but whatever, it doesnt really matter anyways :)

  • at the end of the day the uk took a film genre created by the US that has been done to death. the only decent US zombie flick is night of the living dead but when we in the uk make a zombie film the zombies are a minor factor and such things as "character development" and "contempary statements" come in to play (but you probably wudnt know about that). can i ask you something? have you actualy watched this movie from start to finish??

  • this movies SUXXXXXXXX

it would've been beeter if chuck norris did it lool

  • Have you even seen it?

Can i see your superior movie online or dvd then please...........thought not!

    Lung Nugget!

  • IM IN THIS FILM !

    im a zombie :D

i havnt seen it yet though :( gonna wait til its out on the 30th and see if i can spot myself

  • There are a ton of cool kill shots. Super stylized. Fun times.

  • Trailer looks cool- but then that is the point- hope more gore than in trailer-

Could be good for a Bmovie.

Nice work guys- i'll give it a look.

  • I've heard there is hardly any gore in this-

    Can anyone confirm.

    Thanks

  • cool..cool..

  • British zombie movie...

    I have seen some now!

  • You bloody twat.

What about 28 days later and the sequel?

    'Tard.

And Vanguard suck - big time.

  • dude. if you have issues with the English vocabulary you can get help from most Governments.

  • I want to see that
