  • FUCK YEAH ALEXANDER KEITH'S

    HALIFAX REPRESENT!

  • I love a assambock, and bud.

  • HEY!! YEBISU IS NOT CHINESE GOD!! JAPANESE ORIGINAL GOD FOR WEALTH.

  • Have you guys tried Keiths? >=]

  • He doesn't separate the beer from the hand.

  • Want.

I will pay you to send me some.lol

  • Hey Kevin I really envy you :) Im 21 and i complete my undergrad in 2012 (microbiology) here in Canada. I really really love Japan and all ur videos. I would love to visit or live in Japan, what are my options. I dont have any English degree btw.

  • PJ: you don't smell premium? Try a different anti-perspirant! (Sorry, dude. REALLY bad joke -- lol !!)

  • I believe that Yebisu is considered a Dortmunder Lager.

I quite like that one, and have often drunk it from bottles (though, like you said, it is rarer to find in bottles). While it may not be on the top of the gourmet charts it is well worth the extra money.

  • was this video made in japan?

  • Yebisu is the Japanese god of fishermen, good luck, and workingmen, as well as the guardian of the health of small children.

    wiki

  • Does Japan have Molson Canadian, Molson Export, Labatt's Blue, or any of the popular Polish beers, such as Zywiec, Okocim, or Tyskie? And if so, have you encountered any of these?

  • Standard beer, like Natty? lol

  • What a bad glass to drink beer

  • Fun video, guys! I hope that you are enjoying some nice Canadian beers during your visit home, Kevin. -Kurt :-)

  • i like sapporo and asahi beer i wonder if they sell 40 oz in japan

  • You sound like the Mad Hatter from Alice and Wonderland.

  • do they sell sam addams beer in japan?

  • actually yes! I have seen Sam Adams Boston Lager for sale in a few specialty shops. I actually bought a few bottle earlier in the year....yummy stuff :)

  • if you ever get the chance its sold only in the winter its called old feziwig. its made my sam addams. the name comes from the play scrooge. its the best beer ever.

  • i live in japan and the best beer for me here its the Asahi super dry,or the yebisu,Cheers

  • loving the irish music in the background man

  • DUDE! Japan dosent have bottled imports??? That sucks!

  • actually it does, but you'll have to go to a specialty foreign food store and then pay a kings's ransom!

  • is their any Samuel Adams or Budweiser in japan

  • both. they sell bud in almost all supermarkets and Samuel Adam's Boston lager can sometimes be found in specialty import shops...Sam Adams....a fine beer!

  • dunno why you'd want them, japanese beers are clearly better

  • Asahi in the same breath as Budweiser? Sorry, but not even close. Of course you have to mean the actual Asahi brewed in Japan, and not the outsourced stuff. (Licenced by Asahi brewers and trying to adhere to their standards for beer making, etc. in other places other than Japan) HON-Asahi , for that style of beer, is nearly unbeatable.

Just my opinion of course. :)

  • Yeah...for sure. I know that Sapporo bought Sleeman's a few years ago. I was happy about the fact that my favorite beer (Sleeman's Honey Brown) still tastes the same!

  • #65 of Beers.

If a beer has to say Premium on the label, it probably isn't.

  • I actually have Yebisu Premium Malt in my fridge and it is what I normally drink - I like it. Thanks for the video review.

  • that is a nice beer!

  • When i was in Japan i didn't try "strange" beers...but between the standard ones...Asahi Dry, Sapporo, Kirin and thi Gold Yebisu...i certainly enjoyed this Yebisu more than the others.

I loved it even if as you said it's a pretty easy to drink beer.

    Bye from Italy!

  • Yep. It is indeed a nice beer to drink...unfortunately, it's a little expensive!

  • I buy Sapporo here in Canada once every 6 months, it's cheap here...but good!

  • I used to buy that too at the LCBO in Ontario...in the big metal cans....cool cans!

  • You've got that right, mind you I can get it at the convenience store, I'm in Québec (oui, un autre Québecois). And as my friend would say ; "Chips and beer in the same aisle, is there anything more wonderful"

Sapporo and sushi is also a winner in my book.

Once again Greetings from Canada my Ontario native brother :D

  • Just so you know, the "Sapporo" beer that you find in Canada is usually made in Guelph Ont., under licence and supervision of Sapporo breweries, etc., but somehow the translation is never quite the same...

If you are able, get the real Asahi in cans with the braille on the lid, and truly made in Japan on the can. The difference is truly amazing.

  • Dude... I live in Gatineau Quebec, we have 2 factories here, labatt and molson, so I DO know they subcontract beers like bud for example... it's not like I thought sapporo was brought over by boat! But I still like it every now and then.

  • Nope...,most of the Sapporo sold in Canada is made in Canada. I used to buy these big really cool silver cans of it....those aren't even sold here in Japan!

  • the bi's are buzzin

  • maybe a bit ;)

  • So i just got back from a 4 night trip to Quebec city and i stayed in a hotel room with 3 other guys. (we went out to clubs and stuff with girls don't worry)

Anyways we drank a total of 7 two fours at the hotel and stacked up all the cans in our room.

    It was pretty epic :)

  • I like more head than he does, naughty naughty lol

  • He does like to toss those anughty comments around!

  • you gotta have the pre beer beer :)

  • of course!

  • kampai!

  • Thanks :)

  • Great time, cheers!!
