That was totally awesome. Attending this show was probably the high point of my Bonnaroo experience. I generally don't like the rain, but for once I did like it, becasue that made that show awesome, like the ultimate Bonnaroo experience, great for the first time I was.
dude, snappy, you're so right! i was there, front center... and i SWORE that they were controlling that fucking rain. during the most intense parts of songs, the rain would be pouring the hardest and the strobe would be flashing the brightest.
It was a little rough getting totally drenched out there, but it just wouldn't have been the same on a clear night. The folks who stuck it out were true fans, and I think they made the most of the weather and the crowd.
