erm just so you'll know using a pneumatic system( based on pressurized gas ) would make the blade more efficient, i.e. being able to withdraw and extend the blade at a decent speed and keep it in place. the knife in the video would just pop back in if you try to poke something with it.
@siripala7 Yes you are right and also I don't think that in medieval times or in Italy during the Renaissance had discovered the pneumatic system :D so the solution to the contracting problem and the speed of the blade must've been en-genius :P
@siripala7 That would be too costly, and much too time consuming. It's also illegal to create a hidden blade with "killing potential" (enough force to stay outside it's band sheath and impale/cut an organism) to carry around.

@AfroDcon The Guy Wielding the hidden Blade in the Video is One of My best Friends....I gave him the proper Brace to use with the mechanics of the blade its self cause what he had before was shit and it hurt his Hand....
He Going to Anime North 2011 but as a Steampunk Madhatter.... but he will also possible have the blad for he may go as Desmond again i know hes been working on the blade a bit more to make it work better!!!
