  • I loved this game when I was a kid. The arcade version had blood, 3 player co op and and extra stage if I can remember. SNES was censored, replaced the 3 player co op with 2 and removed a stage (I think). Even still, I'd fuckin' back flip out of joy if even the SNES based ver was announced for PSN or XBLA.

  • this game>>>>>>>>>

i fucking hated that fat bitch who blew fire

  • much better than streets of rage and double dragon this was a real bad ass game it seriously needs a hd release

  • I spent so much money on the arcade edition that the SNES version was dramatically inferior when the SNES had the power to make it even better when i brough it. Still fun.

  • Fats is gonna blast you with his slab of lumber...

  • @TheBaconlaser yea that sounds gross

  • this doesnt look at all like final fight or even sound like it

  • I remember this at the arcades, it was pretty hard, thanks for the post

  • Damn i still can't find this game in any store.....this and captain commando. I figured if I found streets of rage IN THE BOX mint condition I could find anything.

  • @DanielKeithMorrison you would have much better luck on ebay thats where i bought this game from

  • @duce8585 yeah that's a given, but people like me just don't got a credit card or the care for electronic transaction lmao. I'd rather find it in a frikkin store.

  • @RogerThat675 well the only other options are resale shops and flea markets but finding the exact game there is like winning the lottery

  • renegade, river city ransome, double dragon now this technos rules!

  • Wow. I'm downloading this off of the VC right now.

The music is pretty solid. the gameplay looks like a hybrid of Double dragon and final fight.

  • It's a good game.

  • I remember playing this game when i was 7. i could only make it to stage 4. :(

  • As of 11/30/09, the game is now released on the Virtual Console in the US.

  • A shame it's not the arcade version hitting the VC... =\

  • That would be greater... There needs to be more arcade games on the VC. Good ones, that is.

  • I like the music when you finish the stage any Youtube links for that?

  • @alvieao2 damnit, is it on psn???????????

  • Dude I have this on the arcade cabinet in my basement :)

  • charachter select music rocks

  • I liked this game OK but I always found it frustrating and kind of boring that you fight all the enemies in the same 2-screen wide locale with the exception of like the elevator stage. Gotta change up the setting ya know?

  • lol look at them short stubby arms

  • how did you find this footage?

  • I did not find it, I made it. =)

  • 02:07 owned

  • Kazunaka Yamane composed thee music on both the arcade and the SNES version of this game.

  • looks pretty good compared to the arcade. had no clue it even made it to a home port! they have new york city in this game! :D

  • Is it just me or does the music sound a lot like Led Zeppelin's Black Dog at 0:20?

  • this game easily has the best music than any game out there

  • Jesus dude...is that

Big Abobo after the double dragon saga?

  • The arcade version is far superior, but I own this game too! ;)

  • I got a negative for that comment? Sorry, but what I said was true!

  • Oh this brings back so many memories. It reminds me of New York (That's where I lived when I originally owned it) Man, This game still has a pretty bad ass soundtrack.

  • that must be a tall damn mail box

  • does anyone know a site where i can play this game when i was little i played this game so if u know a site where i can play this game please comment below

  • emuasylum

  • God, why cant they figure out a way to make these types of games again for the new systems?

  • Classic!

  • This game is rather amusing. Why would Technos place a girl as a final boss? I thought girl bosses are normally what Sega would come up with in the Streets of Rage series of games (SOR1: stage 5, SOR3: stage 2)! Keep up the good work. :)

  • Its even supposed to be a big plot twist in the arcade version. In the arcade version, you are led to believe that this stereotypical crime boss is the final boss, but then he gets killed by Martha before the final battle.

  • I still have this cartidge, and my snes. I'ma play right now!!! XD

    Zerker 4 life.

  • and it also had that harbor stage, which was omitted from the SNES port (the boss gauntlet on the SNES version is at the building stage where you fight soldiers and security guards)

  • HOLY SHIT THIS ONE BRINGS ME BACK!! I had this game and nbody could beat me at this lol

  • Much better in the arcade. SNES version lacks the blood, and the 3 player option... I'd love to see this on XBL arcade, but I don't think it's popular enough for Microsoft to pursue it.

  • Woa I remember this game for the SNES! I also remember the Arcade version too.

The Arcade version was different, If I remember right it had blood, and the fat guy boss in the first level rides a motorcycle.

  • It's all good. But if you get the chance, it will be very appreciated!

  • I remember this game too! I may have rented it in either '92 or '93. I was a senior in high school....Damn I feel old! Hey Shiryu, could you get the video for the rest of the game?

  • oooooooh shit, i rented this game from blockbuster back in '92 .

  • as good as the arcade
