We went to Iraq because we thought (or, were told) they had WMDs, but were wrong. People make mistakes in war, but this was not a mistake _in_ war, this was a mistake (or ie?) leading _to_ war! Moreover, as Letterman mentioned, Kim Jung-Il has (well, had) proven that North Korea had WMDs. I am pretty sure he's also considered to be "a mad dictator". So, why doesn't the US go to North Korea to "remove WMDs" and/or "install a democracy", as was with Iraq?

The main purpose of going into Iraq was to destabilize it's government and send the country into chaos. Look at it now. I know because I was there. Guess who is going to come in for the rescue?
