I've seen most of guys have commented on range and effectiveness of weapons.

What if you have got most advanced rifle and if you shoot off the target???

Try to find out how many Gurkhas are winners of shooting competitions or winners of Queens Gold Medalist.

You will get unbelievable result.

So whether your weapon is modern or ancient it depends on how accurate you shoot.

I remember one saying... Old deserted guitar sounds well in hand of expert guitarist.

@premsangpang i cant believe he just ignored battle tactics. i would say about 30% of the battle would be light weapons like this. i dont know who would win, but i know that he cant say they would just win, without more explanation other than light weapons!.........im british army btw and i know the Gurkha's are hardcore, iv worked with them, bit half the time people wont even hear what the FFL are doing in the world!

but 1 day 1 gurkha came with 6 pair of ears and threw it infront of his CO's feet nd said in humble voice-"SAAB 6 HEADS WERE 2 HEAVY TO CARRY SO I BROUGHT THIS EARS FOR U HOPE THAT WILL DO THE JOB" and in this deadliest warrior episode they didn't mention about gurkha VC story how 13 gurkhas were awarded VC FOR THEIR bravery.....but anyway i'm happy with the result and happy to share tha facts abt gurkha....i'm happy and proud that they won...once a gurkha always a gurkha...proud to be gurkha

As CO was waitin in total disbelief saw one 5'2" guy running downhill towards the camp in moon lite after few hours as he came closer nd closer he saw 4 heads in left hand holding by the hair nd bloodbath khukuri in his rite hand and came running towards his CO nd said in polite voice revenge has been taken!!! WW2 burma--- CO said anyone who comes with a jap head will be awarded so since then every day some gurkhas used to come back with some jap heads like a competition but 1 day 1 gurkha came

when u watch this DW episode they highly spoke abt FFL than gurkhas when they talk abt mexico war vs burma war but i think they want to keep gurkha tactics nd profile secret bcos if u look back thats not the best of gurkha battle...in anglo-afghan war u can read pathans(talibans in these modern day)killed 2 gurkha prisoner nd when rest of the unit heard that in the foothill of their camp gurkhas went mad nd disobeying their CO order they charged talibans in nite with khukuri so as CO was waitin

justice has been done..gurkha just wont the battle..nd they deserved it....FFL r special forces of france which undergoes special training nd tactics whereas gurkhas r regular army with regular training nd tactice like other regular units but what makes gurkha elite is their blood...their culture,tradition...u dunt hav to teach gurkha how to kill..born to b a warriors whereas FFL might hav best training nd tactics but doesn't hav warrior like blood....ayo gorkhali...thats y gurkha is deadliest!!

@xbox7752 Indian Army (Gurkha) still use Bren which they called "LMG" & the 2nd Gun Lee -Enfeild funny thing is some Indian Police(not Gurkha) still use this Gun which is known as "3 note 3' and 3rd Khukri is the sign of their Bravery & Kukhri is actually a Nepali word for Dagger and don't forget One Gurkha alone killed 30 Taliban. My vote is for Gurkha (All the information on top might not be 100% correct)
