  • so that was a d1 comet attached to the rocket motor?? or was the rocket proppelant a d1 comp?

  • @gothbro111 It was a D1 glitter comet attached to the top of the rocket. A length of quickmatch lights the comet when the rockets fuse is lit creating the glitter tail. A link to the instructions are in the video description.

  • I remember when my dad used to get fireworks made by pyrotechnicians locally, things like bangs, smilies, 3-shots, parachutes. That was before they became illegal to set off other than the fourth of July, WV has some stupid laws, it is now illegal to sell sparklers, or set off anything.

  • very beautifull !!

  • mygod that was nice

  • That was a really attractive rocket. *****

  • I'm certainly not doubting ned gorski's experise by any means, that is a beautiful rocket! but that comet tail looks more like an aluminum streamer comp than a glitter comp. eg- no twinkling flashes of light, maybe it's the camera. Beautiful nonetheless! The diadem star horsetail is fantastic. Love the skylighter tutorials!

  • That was really awsome.

    The effect were just amazing.

Which of the mathematic formulations did u use within calculation of rocket engine pressure, fly hight, forces working generally on the rocket, burningrate? ETC.

  • tight finger clasp on 12 seconds lig!

  • This was excellent. It's hard to capture a quickly moving target and keep it in the lense. Great job.

  • Instructions will be in the next Skylighter Newsletter.

  • Nicely done. 5*
