"Shock" is a little strong. I personally knew someone who died of a heart attack at 32 a few years ago. Ones early 30's is very young to die these days.
I am not shocked because I did not know this person and am not familiar with him or his his channel at all. He was not a known part of my world.
However, he apparently had many friends who valued him, to whom he was a factor in their lives, and who are, indeed, shocked.
I am sub'd to you. You are a factor in my world. I heard about his death thru you. It affected you and I was saddened by that. 33 is still young to die.
@curlew0609 I used the word shock to describe my feelings. Which I was doing since my first comment to you. Hence I said "I think shock conveys my feelings adequately".
The rest of the comment I was responding to at that time just didn't make sense to me.
Might be because I've been very tired the past few days. It tends to affect how well I can understand underlying messages in comments. Sorry about that.
I didn't have the honor to know him... I'm sorry for your loss. I've lost young friends to accidentss (two), but it is just as shocking to lose someone from health-related death. It's not fair at all. We have such a short time to experience life, as it is. Every day is precious, and so is every memory shared with friends and family. Your friend looks to have been someone who did just that, and that is one of the best ways to honor his memory, I'd think.
We all die. We all know it. We all know it could happen any minute. But we're still never ready for when it happens to someone we care about, and especially when it happens so suddenly. I guess it's part of the human condition; we can accept our own mortality, but we never really accept each other's. Our empathy is our survival I suppose. I don't know.
I don't know you and I didn't know your friend, but for what little it may be worth, you have my sympathy.
My condolences on the loss of your friend. May you take comfort in the thought that it matters not how a man dies, but how he lives. He touched many lives and will be missed.
@DmKrispin It's the best clip I had from him that in a nutshell showed who he was and acted. And he loved the picture I took of him before the building. He was so fucking dubious with me positioning him and me crouching to take this picture. But he loved the result.
But I didn't know (or remember?) that he sent you that shirt. It does add something to the video knowing this.
And about the thank you: oh shut it.. Or have I said that already?
@crzer07 Look op the term natural causes. And you will often find heart attack is listed as an example. Someone dying young could still be due to a natural cause.
And the person you just called a troll and a dipshit is the friend I mention in the video that informed me that Rhysz couldn't be reached. So not only isn't it a mature response from you, it is also utterly insensitive.
For fuck sakes...damn that sucks. I've been seeing videos around and all and was wondering what happened...guess you never really know when it's your time.
@Krensharpaw Yeah it does suck. I'm just looking forward to my first decent night of sleep. With all that has been happening, and all that needed taking care of, I haven't slept much.
sometimes, when it becomes old and redundant, and to free yourself of the workload, you kill your puppet, the important thing is to avoid being caught, this stage trick as old as the internet
@quaxk WTF? He really is dead. The police confirmed it and his neighbors and family ID'd the body. I was his best friend for nearly three years, and I already knew his family.
He's dead, so STFU and let us who loved him remember him without any assholish (one of his favorite words) comments from people who obviously don't know anything and don't give a crap.
@quaxk Getting roused from my bed by the police is real. The family confirming this on his facebook wall is real. What kind of person do you think I am that I can fake emotions like that?
Shocking. And horrible. A few years ago I was similarly concerned about a friend's uncharacteristic silence. A friend with unstable health. I was on the verge of making a special trip to his hometown to knock on his door in person. Just before I left, I got a message from him. He was back in town after having gone off for a few days without telling anyone. Happy ending. But I still remember how worried I was.
@ZenoFerox I was still hoping it was nothing serious. And that we had something laugh about, and he to tease me with, if I had let the police check on him and he was just fine. When my doorbell rang that changed instantly...
He was one of the few people within the Atheist community who joined up with Wrestling community. We had so many discussions, arguments, laughs and jokes and everything in between. Gonna miss that Dutch SOB.
We only ever picked on each other and gave each other hell. I hadn't spoken to him in a month or two, but I'm stilling going to miss those sarcastic sessions on skype. My condolences to everyone who knew him and misses him.
So sorry to hear that, Collin. My brother wasn't much older when he died under similar circumstances so I know how shocking it is. My thoughts are with you.
@AntiPlatitude It wasn't exactly what we were expecting when we had the police check on him. We still had the hope it was just something silly that we could laugh afterwards about sending the police to check on him..
@abbynormal0ne It truly was a privilege meeting him. And him slapping me around and pushing me to be a better youtuber and person.
Without him I wouldn't have met so many lovely people and even gone to the youtube meet up. He had an impact, a big one on the people he took an interest in.
I couldn't find your original response comment to me. My condolences on your loss as well, and sorry it took the time it did for me to respond.
