  • I'm thinking 295S near route 1 in New Jersey. Looks too familiar. Great stretch of road there. Nice video. Great driver in the S2K.

  • This is surprising, ive seen stock wrx's race s2000's off the line and its hard for the s2000 to catch up. This s2000 is most likely modified

  • Meh. With a close to stock WRX being heavier and having less hp than a plain Stock S2000 ( not to mention roll races are at the full disadvantage of the WRX), this race's outcome could have been easily predicted by anyone with a reasonable knowledge of the two cars in question.

  • Love this Guys S2K.

I'm looking into 4.56 or 4.77 for mine.

    Naturally Aspirated vs Turbo. Lol

    N/A for the Win

    Nice vid FastisFast

  • "Yeah I'll race your little honda, how about I pinkslip my suba....R U SERIOUS HE ALREADY WON MY CAR!?"

  • Corvette ZR1 vs 90's honda NSX turbo=honda wins

  • vtech sucks try raceing a zr1 'amarica kicked in yo!'

  • @subarunation100 here, for all the people older than nine. "VTEC sucks. Try racing a ZR1! "America kicked in yo!"

  • @FastisFast Lol zr1 is the only car that america got. Everything else is weak haha. jap car got everything.

  • @subarunation100: Bitter the subie lost? Dont make subaru owners look like sore losers.

  • stock ej205 from factory is 13.5psi plus the wrx only has a 3.79 final drive ratio... the front diff is closer to 3.9 but the center diff is were the difference is made in the ratio... but damn that s2000 amazed me with those gear.. gotta luv variable valve timing.. if it was a ej207 with avcs it would of been a bit different,, 2 sick rides though

  • Im pretty sure if that wrx was tuned it would have been better run my wrx holds 18 psi all the way from 3k till I shift

  • @Willie256 Ditto. A stg 2 WRX vs this S2000 would have been much more interesting.

  • id love to see that s2k try to pull on my wrx like that haha

  • Of course the S2000 is going to win. 240 hp STOCK plus exhaust, intake, and gears. Against a WRX, 227 hp STOCK and exhaust. I don't even have to watch this video to know who's going to win. And by no means am I hating on either vehicle. I'm a proud owner of a 2004 WRX and it's bone stock, and I love it. Because it has enough horsepower stock and I live in Nebraska so I can drive all year around.

  • @MichaelDearden94 Its not really the horsepower that matters. Its weight, if the Wrx was lighter than it would most likely win because of its huge torque advantage.

  • @HeyMan096 That's true also, my 04 WRX weighs 3200 pounds, and I'm pretty sure the S2000 weighs around the 2800 pound range.

  • @MichaelDearden94 My old S2K weighed 2900 flat, but yet again the stock Wrx comes with another advantage and that would be a factory turbo. All you would have to do is open up the wastegate and boom you're pushin' 300hp.

  • @HeyMan096 Damn son, I might have to do that with my WRX!! Haha

  • @MichaelDearden94 Atleast thats how it went with my bro's lol. Do you know how much PSI the stock turbo makes?

  • @HeyMan096 I'm pretty sure it runs 13 psi.

  • @MichaelDearden94 Damn, 13 psi is high for a car that only has 227hp.

  • @HeyMan096 well, my stock 02 wrx was pushing 14.7 lbs of boost. when i got my COBB Tuner, it was reduced to 13.9. but i am now pushing around 210 hp at the wheels with no mods except for pulstar pulseplugs and a drop in filter from amsoil, and a cheap fart can from ebay.

  • @Aretelk I'm still just confused about why I see Honda's running 13psi yet making 350+ at the wheel. You're lucky though, I've always wanted a Wrx or an Sti but, insurance is out of my price range because I'm still young. Insurance companies think I spend my entire day wrapping cars around telephone poles.

  • Is that Vin Diesel driving that S2K? Lol

    That car sounds GOOD!!!

  • What you guys are failing to realize is the WRX owner ALSO has an S2000. The wrx is his winter car (note the snow on the hills in the background). He wanted to see how his WRX would do against an S2000 because he cant race both his at this same time. Both are great cars but they are made for different purposes.

  • ive just sold my honda ap1.hence the fact i thougt i would have a little comment on them.240 bhp yes but cus the low torque they are not much cop. got done by a few motors including a focus st and even bmw 325i. would never bye another cause of the crap torque power also worst handling car int he wet and even shitter in the snow.going to get me a golf gti with stage 2 conversion shortly after which will leave the honda in the shade

  • S2000 has 1 passenger, like you can fit more than that in there, unless you sometimes keep a midget in the trunk? Lol. Searously that S2000 sounds GOOD

  • i guess i should have looked into a honda

  • Brake boost!!

  • Nice Video! Was this one filmed in Mexico too? LOL!

  • wrx nicer car overall and i can put 4 more bitches in my car.

  • @brent127wrxlimtd shit son, never new wrx's could hold 6! :P

  • @brent127wrxlimtd nicer yeah right bro. who will get more looks in what car. the s2000

  • @gsxawd199292 its not an sti chill

  • nice..i also have an ap1 and have been debating gears. did they make a big difference?

  • which gears are on the s2k?

  • @azcheron 4.77 Comptech Diff

  • 311? stock? for this reason.. the numbers lie hummm? oh your friends z lol why you still playing with rc cars?

  • HONDA ALL DAY! ;)

REALLY NISSAN TRY AGAIN THESE GUYS NEED BIGGER MOTORS THEN HONDA TO SMASH? OR ATLEAST KEEP UP? HUMM

  • @Othawize721 u talkn smack about nissan cause ill bring out my friends Z wich hmmm ,,,i never saw a honda go 311 stock

  • i have an 07 wrx with exhaust, and intake, my friend has an s2000, exhaust and intake, from a 50 roll i stayed at least 15 feet in front of him the whole time. the gearbox ur talking about must help out a lotttt.

  • The driver was smoking while racing...?hahaha...lol....

  • omg spanked lol, i raced my buddies a while back and it was worse then this. but then again he had 3 people in the car and i was the only one in mine xD

  • hahaha need to go from a dig is the wrx wants a chance

  • It's insane how hard that thing pulls on the scooby...

  • WOOOOOOOW That´s great

  • I have never been beat by a s2000 EVER. Maybe on a road course...

  • what year is your s2000?

  • This is 100% real race I bet. There are sure to be wrx owners complaining but that s2k is built real well for pretty cheap and a regular wrx (non sti) is almost never as fast as the owner thinks it is. The s2k is a beast and the wrx isn't bad but I think the fact that the all motor car beating the boosted awd is just hilarious.

  • @srtallday it would have been hilarious if it was from a dig, awd doesnt give you much of an advantage from a roll

  • the wrx driver ist revving, wrx should be way loudder than the honda and with a chhhsssshhh at the end (turbo) this doesnt look like a race to me

  • @trk23q1 you cant here the wrx, obviously s2k's with exhaust are a lot louder then a wrx

  • @trk23q1 Same size engine. close to same hp. same amount of noise depending on there exhaust. That subie doesnt have a blow off valve because it would lose boost with that on the stock turbo. ( thats why theres no chhhshhhhh) By the way everyone here commenting on how there close to the same power etc whyd the subie get spanked? s2000 has upgraded gearbox. Subie has stock 5 speed transmission. Youd be surprised the difference that would make.

  • @4drena1in3 The Subby has a BOV, you wont find a up to date car that is Fatory Turboed with out one, you dont here it cause it is either recirculated, or it is a Stock BOV and the stock is also recirculated.

Plus there now where close, 6 spd 5 spd, S2K is almost 1000lbs less than the Subbie, and they may be about the same hp, but yall watched the Video, the diffrence is obvious!

Also Pretty sure that S2K has a stock 6spd, His speed matchs mine, at gear changes!

  • does the 4.77 whine a lot? I'm thinking about a 4.44 (a little mild) because I heard they aren't as noticeable.

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS Not one bit. It has something to do with the ratio, but the stock 4.10s and 4.77s do not whine at all!

  • @FastisFast alright man, thanks for the quick response. I was thinking about changing them when/if I decide to go with comptech diff reinforcement. I don't know yet though. The next mod I'm focused on is actually buying a beater for the winter and bad days and only driving the S on the nice ones. lol

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS I actually drove my S2k in a level 3 snow emergency! the front bumper was plowing the snow lol, I got caught in it on my way home from work! It did make it

  • @FastisFast Most likely I'll be pulling some of those this winter since I just got it hahaha. Is there anything you do for the soft top (I'm scared about that), or do you take your car to a car wash and spray off all that salt and nastiness?

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS The top I left alone, although it did start to get small rips in it. The winter will break down your top eventually. Just have an extra 600 laying around for a new top lol. Yeah I washed it almost everyday.

  • @FastisFast I'm going to try my best to keep it in order. Btw what's your s2ki sn? mine is j2damilla on s2ki . I'll add you to my buddies list

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS It was TjsS2k. I sold it about a year ago tho :( so I am no longer active! I will own another one, one day!

  • @FastisFast Sorry to hear that man, once you get it let me know. I follow the Ohio Owners club on s2ki. I live about a half hour north of Cincy.

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS I've got 4.44's on my Ap1 and they only whine at 45, and even when they do you can barely hear them. Otherwise they are as quiet as stock, totally unnoticeable. Didn't you use to have vids of your car with 4.77's? I think I've seen you on s2ki before back when i was researching what gear set i was going to choose.

  • @ASOTaroundTHEworld You aiming as FastisFast? lol it's alright. btw I just got a S2K and was wondering about the 4.44's, how do you like them? I was also thinking about putting on the Comptech diff reinforcement at the same time

  • 4.77 gears is the main difference...badass....bolt ons really dont do much for our s2000's

  • the s2000 can only have one passenger dumbass.

  • where'd he go? lol!!

  • man, intake sounds good bro...what do you have under the hood in that s2000???

  • @Infantrysquad22 Please read the description. Intake/Exhaust/4.77 rear end final drive.

  • so sad the wrx is almost stock, i think the stage 2 wrx and this s2k will have a good and close match. A+ for both cars.

  • what kind of gears does the s2k have?

  • lol... final drive

  • @FastisFast what you said = sit down child...

  • My best friend has a wrx and I have an S2K and we have raced. We are about equal with all our mods but its just a crazy thing to compare. The cars are so different its insane. The only thing they have in common is 4 cylinders and 4 wheels. It crazy to argue about which one is better. Its the same as arguing whether cats or dogs are better pets... there both animals but that's it.

  • Sti would beat you

  • @RaNdoMeD69 an sti is turbo'd. s2k is all motor

  • love u guys babe!

  • Nice video, I ve been reading some comments here and alot of ppl seem to dont know the difference between torque and horsepower ... well, here it comes, never forget this again :

    Horsepower = Torque x Rpm / 5252

The sub (6k rpm?) has more torque but cant rev as high as the S2K (9k rpm), so in order to be fair (hp) it needs 9/6 more torque then the S2K wich "wasnt there, too much".

Thats "a" reason the S2K could have won. (it really depends on much more then this ofc ...)

  • we all know wrx or sti sucks from a roll...shit these car were not made for speed, kinda why the red line start a 6000 rpm...I'd rather like to see this race again on track waiting for the green light...

  • @marcky89869

We did.... He ran a 14.1@98, I ran a 13.9@100. What is your point? You would like to see him lose with him having the advantage?

  • @FastisFast right my s2000 ran a 13:9 too....hehe...

  • @marcky89869 WRX's redline starts close to 7k rpms and goes to 9k.

  • @acingteam I have a 2.5rs impreza...My redline starts at 6000k

  • The torque didn't win the race. the s2000 did.

  • No shit it has only one passenger. It's just a fuckin 2 seater.

  • Honda is the 4 Bagger King!

  • @TheCottonTop WRX is a 4 banger to.

  • s2k rapes..

  • nopeee.

    Subaru way faster...wtf

  • all i see is slow cars

  • vtec just kicked in

  • Gotta love the tq arguement. horsepower sells cars tq wins races huh...Well look what happened here. Where is your tq now you biased and ignorant wrx owners?

  • i like that s2000

  • @FastisFast the funny thing is how your getting all upset about this little disagreement, and i know the amount of torque doesnt have to do with the how high the revs go. Thats why i never made that correlation.I clearly said the only reason the rev limit is 9k is because "there is no power anywhere else." Maybe you should read a little better. But anyway, i think the s2k is an amazing car i was actually looking at buying one berfore the wrx. This whole thing on youtube was interesting. thanks.

  • Yea from a roll the s2000 get away but try this out from a red light or something ...The subaru will get away quick to...But anyway both are great cars and I love both so anyway I dont really care

  • wow talk about getting smoked!! mulitple bus lengths! nice..

  • this is not an wrx sti...which regular wrx is thesame hp as s2000....

  • I have a wrx and i rape every s2k i race, so I'm a little confused by this video. I feel like the wrx might not be hitting boost or something.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 The reason you are confused is because the S2000 isnt racing. A stock s2000 vs a stock wrx the s2000 will walk it from a roll, it traps 3-4mph faster. Has more hp and its lighter. Mine had gears which causes faster accel, he ran his car and it ran a 14.2@97 with his mods, he ran a 14.6@95 stock. I ran a 13.69@101.9 BIG DIFFERENCE

  • @FastisFast My bad i didnt see you had gears, if you raced my wrx i think this video would have turned out very different.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 this is not an wrx sti...which regular wrx is thesame hp as s2000....you should know this....just wondering if u own one!!!!

  • @twistedlekyam i guess what iam neglecting to say is, i have a 2009 wrx. I just wanted to see what everyone had to say. lol Iam putting about 250 at the wheels maybe a little less.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 fastisfast is rite...stock vs stock wrx stand no change! i have a s2k too...i walk all over stock wrx!

  • @longvxr95 Maybe stock vs stock if the wrx is an 03-05. Ive ran my STOCK wrx at the track and i runs between 13.5 and 13.8 consistently. Stock S2k's run in the mid 14's.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1

Please do not compare 1/4 mile times when watching a video about roll racing. There is to much involved to determine which is faster. Yes WRXs do run faster in the 1/4 mile but that is due to their AWD system, they leave the line faster which will get them faster times. There trap speed is slower. What did you run 13.5@100? My S2000 ran 13.7@101 during this video

  • @FastisFast

    13.6 sorry

  • @FastisFast Quick question how much money did put into your s2k? Lets say you put some minor mods into your car, so that costs about $1500. So a stock s2k costs about 30k maybe more. So at this point you spent $7000 more then me, since i bought my 09 wrx for roughly 25k. So lets say i cut you a deal and only put 5k into my wrx, i would tear the s2k to pieces.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 LOL I bought my s2k for 12k with 35k miles on it and its getting a inline pro stage 1 turbo for 5k more. 500 rwhp. Your argument is dumb. Oh and my MY01 s2k is going to last longer than your 09 wrx.

  • @AIm2kil0 okay so you bought your s2k for 12k so that and you "supercharged" it, so you have about 20k left with that engine. how is that going to last longer then my subaru? which will last for 150k miles?

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 Please do your research before you post next time. There have been literally hundreds of S2000s making over 500whp on a BONE STOCK engine, with well over 100k and still going strong. The record is 716hp for 82k miles while boosted... The kid in the video racing me also has an S2000, his suby is always broke down with something...

  • @FastisFast I would like you to do your research, Honda has never competed in a rally competition. There cars could and will never be able to handle the rough terrain that a Subaru can handle. The s2000 is no longer produced for a reason. think about it. The s2000 is an overpriced go kart. Its rear wheel drive layout is from the early 90's. Its time Honda actually engineer a machine that can awe the world stage.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 @gtrzo6gtx1 I think 240hp 2.0 ALL MOTOR, 9k rpms, great handling, great gas and reliabilty in a heavy convertable is pretty impressive. The s2k has been voted best sports car many years. A wrx has what 250 hp on boost??? Thats sad and by no means is good engineering.

  • @FastisFast Think about it, I WALKED a WRX in this video in my horribly engineered S2000... So you drive a rally car on the street? Thats stupid. If I want to go off road I will get a truck, If I want to go fast with unlimited possibilies I will go with my S2000. WRXs are terrible for modding, Anything over 400whp your going to need a new drivetrain, over 500whp new motor, and so on.. Then your not driving anything but a built race car

  • @FastisFast your making about 150 lb/ft of torque at the crank, so that translates to 135 maybe less at the wheels. I feel like your one of the people who see the horsepower rating and think thats all there is to it. Horsepower sells. Your all impressed that the s2k can rev to 9k rpm's. Guess what, the only reason the limit is that high is because there is no power anywhere else. My wrx hits max power at 3250. So no need to to rev to much higher then 6500. The wrx torque curve trumps the s2k's.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 And the tq that a motor makes has NOTHING to do with how high it can rev. Im not sure where you heard that or if you just made it up, but you are strongly mis-informed

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 Sorry man, unless you have a STI or mod the crap outta of your wrx, s2k will always win.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 so what all cars r different dude that's what make them unique ! n subie got raped !

  • @gtrzo6gtx1

The WRX hits max power at 3250? Thats horrible. Horsepower sells eh? Well it apparently wins races too...The wrx has way more torque. Too bad it can't beat 130 lb ft of tq. though.

  • @IAmTheRealAsif Do you not understand that hitting max power earlier is a good thing? the power curve and the torque curve is much larger (more area under the curve, simple calculus). which means power comes sooner and lasts all the way to redline. The s2k hits max power pretty close to redline which means the "area under the curve" is much smaller than my 2009 wrx. I hope you can figure this out its not too complicated.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 But that power band doesn't mean much for a car that weighs only 2800 lbs. Thats why the s2k can compete with the WRX. Power to weight is just a little better for the s2k.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1

Yes I know what that means. Your so smart! People like you go nut swinging on tq but look what happens? You fail. I hope you can understand that.

  • @IAmTheRealAsif I like how you dont read what i posted. I specifically said my 2009 wrx!!! not the one in the video.

  • @IAmTheRealAsif Actually torque is what wins the race. Puting the power to the ground. Hp only counts at constant top speeds. What won the race was the fact that the torque combined with the light weight in the s2k is better then that of the WRX.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 ok... so your stupid. first of all when your turbo is hitting full boost at 3250, not really a good thing (small turbo). and the reason that an s2000 motor can go to 9k rpm's is because it is built like a formula motor. this includes not forged but titanium crank, valves, and cams. not to mention 11:1 compression. the drive terrain stock is built to handle almost 700 hp. bottom line wrx has several problems s2000 doesn't. a 500 hp wrx would blow the tranny before it left the shop

  • @jowen034 lets not act like ass holes and call people dumb and what not. please explain how hitting max power at 3250 is bad? like i have said before if the hp graph is at its max from a lower starting point and holds it all the way to 6500 rpms there is more power for longeer. i guess thats bad? a stock 2009 wrx tranny can handle 600hp, i have talked to agile auto about this just to be sure.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 No they cannot. I know countless people who tried to launch there WRX/STI with under 400 whp and basically destroyed the transfer case or transmission. Literally I know about 6 people this has happened to. WRXs are known for shitty drivetrains.

  • @FastisFast Iam not doubting you, thats just what agile automotive told me for my 2009 wrx. I would trust them. Throughout talking to you it sounds like you know the honda s2000 very well and drivetrain in general. But so does this place, i will deffinately look into it more when i eventually do everything i want to. thanks for the heads up. you should check out agile auto's website.

  • @FastisFast

They just dont know how to drive the awd. If you launch high rpms in a fwd or rwd, you are just going to spin away that extra energy created thru your tires. However, its alot harder to spin all 4 tires, that extra energy has to go somewhere. Guess what. The shock goes to the drivetrain.

  • @FastisFast Its not really a weakness in the drivetrain but instead its a lot of HP combined with ridiculously sticky stock tires and a very good AWD system. So basically, on streets if you let the clutch fly at 5000+ rpm, you are not gonna get a ton of wheel slip, instead its gonna stick and throw you back in the seat. something is gonna get worn out, its just the way it is. Its not the transfer case that is the weak link, the driveshafts and CV joints are the point of failure if you abuse them

  • @FastisFast oh also there transmissions arent shitty or weak either... stock sti transmissions are rated for up to 550 ft lbs ot torque which the car doesnt even produce that so im sorry if your jealous and pissed at the world because you got a honda instead and made a huge mistake but dont take it out on other poeple man... but anyways get your facts straight... morons i swear

  • @FastisFast

    STI = Shattered Transmission Inside

  • @FastisFast this is very true. i have a friend with a 97 wrx w. a 07 wrx motor and 06 tranny, its putting down around 300hp to the crank, he shattered his second gear about a week after putting it in. lol now has an sti tranny.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1

    no it can't.

  • @FastisFast

Seriously dude s2k's are impressive cars, and I own a Mustang so by no means do I come by the Import side, but dude 240 HP out of a 4 cyl 2.0l N/A, that's just awesome...

They lack torque... but a quick gears swap solves that.

    They're great cars!

  • @Roger0416 thumbs up to a cool mustang owner/ car enthusiest :)

  • @Roger0416 You are genuinely the first muscle owner I've seen that doesn't come to an import video and just start cussing and making fun of imports. Congrats

  • @FastisFast WRX's have 225 horsepower until I think 09' when they got 265.

  • @FastisFast stk is a great car, dont even bother arguing with kids who most likely have only driven there parents suv and dont understand naturally aspirated engines, power to weight ect...

  • @FastisFast I thought the base WRX had 217HP...

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 dude there are civics that do rally racin. there r some vidz on youtube :)

  • you have absolutely no idea about the S. This statement right here proves it. Top gears car of the year for 2 years, car and drivers top ten cars of the decade at #4. Motor of the year for five years. Highest N/A hp per liter in the world until ferrari just toped it. Highest reving production piston motor. perfect 50/50 weight dist. SUPER rigid high center backbone X Frame design. Derived from a Colin Chapman design (Lotus). I can go ON and ON but theres a point here.....

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 this being, what makes you think that a car acclaimed all over for being the penicle of engineering that it is, by real professionals and credible magazines an overpriced go cart. That it's not in production for a reason?? How about it was a commemorative car only made to come out only in 2000 to celebrate hondas 50th anniversary but the demand made it last for 10 years smartone. So what significance does a normal ass wrx have in comparison? In fact ill answer that none!

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 you didn't answer his question Fastisfast. How much did all the mods cost? I will be the first to say I don't know much about final drives putting out that much extra torque. However, it doesn't seem like a minor adjustment in the final drive and an intake with exhaust would put out that much torque/hp. You killed that WRX.......I expected to hear "oh I twin turboed it and lightened the car 50lbs."

I drive a car with a decent sized Honda VTEC engine aswell.......so I was curious.

  • @Infantrysquad22 I paid 400 for the diff, 100 for the intake and 150 for the exhaust. All used prices.

  • @FastisFast where you shop at?? that's some good price.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 i got my s2000 13.8 stock!

  • @longvxr95 Really? props to you. Must be a good driver.

  • @gtrzo6gtx1 I rape this and you rape that, my dad rapes more cars than yours, OMG that is lame... never EVER will a stock wrx (non-sti) beat an s2k under any circumstance but a very rainy day or a mud track, or maybe an extremely bad s2k driver who doesnt want to push his car for a stupid street race.

  • nice S2K bro i want one so bad ..im stuck with a hatch =/

  • HONDA=BEAST

  • only see those car in the summer, with my WRX, i get a hard on for bad weather, and everyone else have to garage their car and drive their mama's car till the rain, snow etc.... goes away wah wah.

  • @crosschofas

Good job, racing in the snow sounds like a smart idea... ? BTW I drove my S2000 in a level 3 snow emergency with snow tires. Its the driver not the car.

  • @crosschofas it's not so much wah wah im scared of rain or snow or anything, my S doesn't see bad weather, not cause it can't handle it but because i don't wanna get her underside all nasty, that's why i have two other vehicles to drive. have you ever seen the underbody of a car that's been drivin in snow for ten years or is driven to the beach often? the salt does a number to em, so if you love your car you'd do what you can to keep her fresh as long as possible ya dig.

  • hondas = only for ricers

  • @yepp87

Your the reason little kids shouldnt post..

  • @yepp87 u = FAGG

  • boy that wrx has no mods at all, and what he has done to it isnt helping much

  • Comment removed

  • @zeroflat: I'm 6'2 and own an S2000. Have you actually tried sitting in one? It's perfectly comfortable for me. My seat's not even all the way back. It'll definitely fit most "average sized" people. It will not fit people with an "above average" waist :)

@aaronzgod: The s2k and STI might be in the same price range, but they're in totally different classes. AWD and 300hp can't be compared to 237 Rear Wheel drive car. WRX is closer in numbers to S2k so it's a better comparison.
