Simple and easy to control, yes, but FPS games using a controller is fucking horrible. It's not that it's "harder" as I've heard some people claim. It's just worse. Maybe you or others don't notice since you may not play many FPS games on PC, but using a controller is definitely a disadvantage and I feel like I'm cheating myself doing it....

Short story even shorter: FPS games suck using anything besides a mouse and keyboard and i wish consoles would finally support it for real.

The console controls aren't as good as a mouse and keyboard but

1: You get used to them.

2: If you're playing multiplayer, then everyone else is using the same controls.

3: The Wii is great for FPS games because it's easy to just point at the screen watch gameplay for Red Steel 2. It's a good example of what I mean.

I think that if more games start supporting PS move and Kinect then the console controls might get better.
