@fhhuckyou Clearly I am dealing with a superior intellect. Your argument of, "A = A, except when I say so" is infallible. How do you explain the xylophone, the marimba? What about the conga? That is a widely accepted musical instrument that is little more than a log with some goat skin stretched over it. Important composers such as John Cage and Harry Partch expanded on this concept by building their own percussion instruments. They were much, much smarter than you.

@fhhuckyou You do realize that virtually every percussion instrument is just a piece of wood that you smack with one object or another, right? There might be a piece of fabric attached to it, but that's it. The definition of the word percussion is, in fact, "the striking of one solid object with or against another with some degree of force." Even the best drummer in the world is just "some idiot hitting a piece of wood." Moreover, the Cajon is a historical instrument from South America.
