What was the cause of Godhra carnage ? It started when bastard muslim fanatics burnt down 56 hindus in a planned attack on the train. If this ghastly act of muslims can be justified as their birth right, then they should also bear the consequences. Hindus are by default resilient but their resilience is thought to be their weakness. But Godhra incident proved was a message to all the Muslims that they will receive the same treatment by which they terrorise any other community.

And even then tell me, why muslims? why not christians, buddhist or any other community? RSS and VHP are hindu extremist organisation and they are not so big. I myself have studied in one of RSS schools & so I know. BJP just have the name and RSS has very minor link to them. In short RSS and VHP aren't capable enough to arrange riots for years.
@jredhills The leaders had long ago decided that this would be done, Mr Keshul Bhai Patel was approached - he said no, then Mr. Modi agreed and he promptly replaced Mr Patel by the blessing of RSS citing the loss of bye-elections. The riots spread at such a pace that could only be planned in great details. If it was just a large scale emotional reaction to godhra then how come we see very strategic development / spread of riots.

Thats why no one came to know about it before the riots happened. The spreading of riots can be associated by the contained anger within hindus post godhra and when they heard about riot happening at other places they must have joined them too.. All we can do is predict, we can't be sure.

What was the cause of Godhra carnage ? It started when bastard muslim fanatics burnt down 56 hindus in a planned attack on the train. @najafzaidi Mate what he did in gujrat was an emotional outcome.. even those obligations against him has not been proved yet but lets consider what you guys think... before the riots took place, there was an incident which is called godhra hatyakaand.. in that hatyakaand several hindus were killed by muslims, and nobody gave a shit.. not even media which is very fond of events nowadays.. now after that do you want or expect hindus not to take any action? Be silent? yes several innocent muslims..

@jredhills - If I sounded that I didn't care for some people who died - because they were hindus, I have not voiced my opinion correctly. My dear brother, irrespective of the religion of every innocent killed, I feel sorry for their death, and so should everyone. The people responsible for "Godhra Hatyakand" should be punished, if they are not , the fire of hell is already awaiting them.

What I meant was the things which happened in past was terrible from both sides ie hindus as well as muslims.Now we should forget about it, should move on and live our lives with peace & harmony.You hear no more violence in gujrat.All you hear is development,and this development is all because of modi.He is a great person & wishes well for gujrat and his country.I wish to see him as our PM. You dont have to disown hinduism to be a human being, you can be a hindu and still feel the agony of people smelling their own burning flesh while dying. I believe that no riot can extend few hours without the support of government, be it Gujrat or be it 1983. I request you to imagine your loved ones being killed, because of some emotional outburst by some people, would you like to know the reason of that outburst ?

@najafzaidi Of course I would never want my loved ones to get killed because of any reason. But if they did then I would kill the person responsible for it. As I said Modi has not been proved guilty of what happened in gujrat & also I believe he is innocent. Logically you think, if you are the chief minister why would you want to have massacre in your state when you know that you will be held responsible very easily?Actions should be taken for the accountable ones, I agree on that.

May be the people in power below modi have done something of these kinds for which modi is held accountable.Modi and no other minister can expect to be safe after letting massacre to happen up to that extent. Your example of school is completely different from a political monopoly. Things in gujrat was ugly. And no community can be held completely resposible.The attacks happened as riots involving numerous people. You cant catch all of them

@jredhills I would also like to bring to your notice the planned way the riots were held for example there was a store running by a hindu name , had a partner who was a muslim, that store gets looted and not others beside it. My dear friend the riots, their blue print was planned long ago the BJP and RSS had been planning this long ago, they were looking for a suitable event to trigger it believe me even if GODHRA had not occurred the riots would have found some other excuse.

@najafzaidi First of all, I tell you that this can't be years of planning. Because people who are of this sort don't have the brains to do this in order. And even then tell me, why muslims? why not christians, buddhist or any other community? RSS and VHP are hindu extremist organisation and they are not so big. I myself have studied in one of RSS schools & so I know. BJP just have the name and RSS has very minor link to them. In short RSS and VHP aren't capable enough to arrange riots for years.

@jredhills The leaders had long ago decided that this would be done, Mr Keshul Bhai Patel was approached - he said no, then Mr. Modi agreed and he promptly replaced Mr Patel by the blessing of RSS citing the loss of bye-elections. The riots spread at such a pace that could only be planned in great details. If it was just a large scale emotional reaction to godhra then how come we see very strategic development / spread of riots.

@najafzaidi Of course it was planned but not as if it was planned for years. Planning for years require secrecy and money which RSS doesn't have. It must have been planned for days. Thats why no one came to know about it before the riots happened. The spreading of riots can be associated by the contained anger within hindus post godhra and when they heard about riot happening at other places they must have joined them too.. All we can do is predict, we can't be sure.

The culprit misdeeds should be brought in front of the world, it should be done in such a way that even the culprit's children would hate him for what he did. For this people should sympathise with the sufferer. If the sufferer or the people with affected people, take justice in their hands and take violent decisions, then the HISTORY will write the chapter as a conflict.

@jredhills I wish to restate that without Mr Modi's permission this slaughter could not have been continued beyond few hours. He did that because its very easy to gain the confidence/support of people by making them believe that he hates what they hate. Its easiest way to gain support as human beings we dont reason with someone who seems to be against , what we oppose, in fact we very easily form a strong bond even if we are all wrong.

@jredhills Suppose I go to some new school and I find that most of the students hate Rajnikanth, I, to bond with them , to become their leader start speaking against Rajnikanth publicly or make fun of him. If I get a chance I would even beat some Rajni fan. Now most of the students will see their own image in me, my courage would be respected by them and so will be me.
