We could work all of us 4 or 6 hours per day instead of some of us 8 or 10 hours per day, don't you think? Meantime we could study 1 or 2 hour per day in order to keep up informed with science discoveries and development... as free or cheap energy, Contour Crafting houses built with 3D concrete-jet print technology,etc
And all this without sacrificing too much from our lifestyle. That's why we invented the machines, computers ,robots and all stuff...

There are other words which fits better the happiness ...to settle yourself, to be pleased, satisfied, thankful.
you cant hire people if you dont have any money. Taxing people by taking more of their money means they will have less to spend.
