@JustSamples Because it took so long to render, and I needed to use the computer it was rendering on during the daytime.
So, I left it rendering a chunk of the JPG sequence overnight, each night for about 2 weeks. Once the whole JPG sequence was rendered out, it took very little time to turn those into an H.264.

why would you render this in jpeg first and not just go straight to mp4? im kinda new to this.
