Drogheda is one of the biggest dumps in Ireland. I'd give it a wide berth if you are planning to visit. All it has to offer is a decimated town center, teenage mums and a shitload of crap housing!

amorphoushead, for anyone thats interested, is originaly from drogheda and worked in the town council promoting tourism. That is, before went to Earth one night, took a shitload of drugs, went home and tortured and murded his own family. Typical Drog I would say! He now resides in the Louth Detention instute for criminally insane, which has a long waiting list.

Please tell me you taking the piss? Firstly I am also from Drogheda and to honest your completely wrong, not every (almost) are common in Drogheda. Drogheda is no different than any other town in Ireland or around the world. You get a mixture of people. Some are common and some are not! Maybe if you tried to get to know these people you might see that. Another thing, if you are from Drogheda you should start appreciating the town's historic history and stop bad mouthing your fellow townies!!

i visited drogheda twice. i like the place very much. whenever i spend time in ireland my last night is in drogheda. its only half an hour away from dublin airport. i met many cool people there. thanks drogheda, thanks ireland!
