i wanted the i phone until i used one in an At&T store i asked the sales person was it in the 3g network because it was kinda slow i compared to my friends instinct it totally owned the i phone ebay youtube facebook iphone has these sites customized for it and still was owned i got the instinct 2 hrs later with bluetooth a 16gb sd card car charger and 2 yr replacement warranty for 30$ less than the 16gb iphone i still think the i phone is cooler but speed is speed 4g coming soon for sprint
Another thing is that that INSTINCT has no java and will not display everything and it only loads portions not the whole screen so if you drag and drop to the left you gotta wait till those images come up IPHONE WINS!!!

The other touch screen phones run off their own software... some will run windows mobile but the instinct runs off its own type software
If you're currently on ATT, get an iPhone, if your currently on Sprint, get an Instinct. If you're on neither and want to join one, pick the one that has better service in your area.

The deal breaker is the screen and battery life...iPhone has a bigger screen and higher resolution and the battery life is also longer.

The Iphone is only in GSM while the Instinct is CDMA High Speed EVDO which is roughly around 5 to 8 times faster. Just google it and read how much faster CDMA is to GSM. Also high speed on the Iphone is only available on WIFI. Don't beleive what I'm saying!, check it out.

although im getting the instinct, i have to say that the iphone is a bit sharper. the apps run smoother and the transitions are cleaner. like what has been said numerous times, it depends on which phone fits your needs. i don't need microsoft exchange so it doesn't bother me not having it. however, the instinct is a better "phone" device; it has more features pertaining to actual phone use. the iphone has stronger entertainment capability. but the instinct is more cost effective.

Looks like the "unknown error" message came out of its slumber in the seventh circle of hell and decided to wreak havoc on iPhone and iPod Touch owners. Here's the wording that they see when trying to sync the device in iTunes:

THE NEW IPHONE 3G IS OUT and HAS 3G!! So this video is comparing the Instinct to an outdated product (Original iPhone - which used Edge instead of 3G) --- They need to reshoot the videos with the NEW IPHONE.
One thing we should note, they wouldn't be able to make this commercial anymore - THE CONCEPT IS VOID!

rusty is trying to compare the icrap to the Instinct again, its over man..apple lost..why are u still trying? the Instinct beats the icrap in sooo many ways that Instincts on its own level now, the iphone is below the Instinct looking up..with live tv, radio, upload vid and pics, removable battery, push to talk nav, better price and plan and a internet that covers 5 times more then the 3G per square mile. the iphone does have a battery that doesnt come off though..oh wait thats a disadvantage

Id rather have an actually accurate screen that doesnt require me to nearly break the lcd its so unresponsive.
