Great video, I've been looking for a hot minute, still don't understand why they feel that a touch screen smartphone wouldn't NEED a lanyard hole.

I dropped my $300 BB Curve phone and it cracked the display. Wish I had seen this video before I totaled it.

I will be getting a lanyard next time.  And I am out $300 or whatever I can get a replacement Curve for. What a drag.

The install is worth the hassle.

For example, see my G1 video shot on the Golden Gate Bridge. At one point I was holding the phone over the bridge railing.

It was windy and the phone was its typical slippery self. (The G1 has a great feel, but the surface texture is smooth and slippery.)

Also, when pressing the keys it's easy to lose a grip on the G1.

When I shot that video I was for sure using my lanyard lest my G1 romantically fall into Golden Gate Bridge water.
