  • Mmh quelle cochonne sexy...

  • I love her laugh!!!!!! :D

  • Evangeline Lilly is french canadian, so she can speak both english and french..

  • @Ameliadams I do find it strange when people make such statements as if they were the truth. She's not French Canadian. While her French is actually rather good, she has an anglophone accent and makes the grammatical mistakes that one would expect from someone who learnt it as a second language. It is therefore an error to say that she is French Canadian....and another error to say that she speaks English and French. That implies she speaks both to the same level, which she doesn't.

  • @petitanglais alright then..:)

  • @petitanglais and you would be the exception to that rule then i suppose?

  • @DarinTeven1988 You need to clarify what 'rule' you are alluding to. Otherwise it's a pointless question.

  • @Ameliadams she is not French-Canadian... she is a french-speaking anglophone Canadian.

  • She's mega cool. I didn't know that she speaks french!

  • She's Canadian? no? I love her accent, it's a perfet girl :)

  • I so want to fuck her while she speaks french to me

  • The world "Alberta" is so spot on with how we say it in Quebec.

  • -Oh, hello! You speak French?

    -Yes, very well.

-I can also speak French, but it's not always perfect.

-Did you come for the rehearsal?

-Yes, I'm here to practice my lines and things like that, because I've never presented in front of...at the ceremony? I don't know the right word... Award?

    -Ceremony!

    -Oh, ok, all right.

-Where did you learn to speak French?

-In Alberta! Even in Alberta..(?)..when I was very young. It was about 13 years ago since I last spoke French regularly, so I forget a lot.

  • @FiatLux47 thanks for the translation :)

  • !!!!

  • it's a quebecois accent. (it's very cute!)

  • just 2 words: so cute !

  • Je voudrais.

  • what?

  • wow shes pretty fluent

  • i like her accent by the way.. it's clearly Canadian but I guess people in english-speaking Canada learn the Canadian version of French and not the one spoken in France

  • i am always so impressed with people who can speak more than one language. i learnt spanish in school for like 5 years and i can hardly speak any. it's hard to learn another language

  • @vanillabamboo1 in europe it's normal to learn 2 foreign languages (english + something else, usually french, spanish or german) .. unless you're in the UK of course, then you learn 0 or 1 foreign languages.. xD

  • have english canadian same accent of french canadian? funny

  • Why does she have a Canadian accent?

  • @justfavoritevids Because she's Canadian...?

  • She's so cute ! :3

  • awesome!

  • What was she saying at :31! What word is that, other than year?

  • @KindlyKickRocks She says "Alberta", part of Canada. The guy asks her about where she learnt french and she answers "en Alberta".

  • @FlamencoSmallBand ahhh thank you for that. That must have been the accent.

  • c mignoooooooooooon

  • Vraiment incroyable !!!!

  • i love her :)

  • When she says "en Alberta" it sounds French-Canadian but the rest of it is pretty much your standard snotty french accent. Still, she's pretty good.

  • @dedricthere She doesn't have a metropolitan French accent at all ! Québecois only. And she made many, many mistakes... but who cares, eh ? ;)

  • jeez she makes sooo many mistakes, i mean, it's good effort, but it's far from perfect french

  • @sebastianflyte07 Well, she says it has been 13 years since she has spoke french on a regular base and she forgets a lot because of that. I personaly think it's really really great for someone who stopped speaking french regularly 13 years ago!

  • @Gudulpif

ok it's just because i'm learning french i'm interested. but like at the beginning she tutoyer him straight away. and when he says he speaks good french she replies 'oui je sais, tellement dur..' as tho he'd asked a question. j'sais pas le mot isn't it connais? j'avais tellement petit..

so these were things i thought were like quite non-native mistakes but everyone's like 'no it's perfect it's just a different accent'

  • @sebastianflyte07 Yeah, this one was a mistake. She meant "Oui, j'essaie, mais c'est tellement difficile". But the whole thing was still pretty good though :)

  • Wow

  • j'adore cette meuf...épouse moi!!lollll

  • elle parle plutôt bien le français

  • I think I just came.

  • english people speaking french = adorable.

  • We think the same about French speaking English. :-)

  • @lolkiwi though not as adorable as italian ones trying the same. Check Laura Paulini

  • I do not think that is something special,(Evi speak french)because she is from Canada.French in this country is the second official language.

  • c'est français toi?

    the black guy: oui xD

  • wow... didnt' see that coming!

  • Her accent sounds like she's from Quebec ! And that's cute :)

  • @lif3goes0n she is ,isn't she ?

  • I don't know... But I guess you're right, she must be :)

  • @lif3goes0n yeah i thought that too, and it's not only cute, she's really good

  • @lif3goes0n it makes sense if she learnt french in Alberta.

  • @lif3goes0n she's just trying to sound like she's from Quebec. ...trying to impress.

  • @Siobanphotogirl you're stupid, really stupid for real... I don't fuckin see where she tries to speaking Quebec accent anyway...

  • @Siobanphotogirl I almost forgot, she has a Quebecers accent this is normal when you live in Canada, you can talkin fench accent from France when you used to live in Canada.

  • @lif3goes0n Not really, no... That's not our accent ! We don't speak like that..........

  • haha omg i was only kidding about my comment. RELAX

    - "Ceremonie"

    Imbécile !

    Le mot c'est "récompense", "prix".

  • Mddr tu parle français toiii ^^

  • shes canadian big whoop they all speak french

  • not everyone.

I am from Quebec recently so i do but alot of my friends from other parts of Canada dont know any more than Bonjour or Merci

  • ignorance is a bliss, they don't

  • THE EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS CEREMONY.

  • What are you guys complaining about? It doesn't matter if she speaks french with accent or not. the important thing is that speaks the language and people can understand her. really, stop being ignorant . Lots of people speak different languages with accents.

  • Elle est tres bonne, I didn't even know she spoke french

  • reriraro

  • I don't think she has the quebec accent... ( I would know, i live in quebec and speak french w/ quebec accent) I think it's more of an parisian accent..

but it's TOTALLy awesome that she speaks french!

    I love her!

  • telle est la beauté

  • She's speaking a perfect French with a Québec accent.

  • Sorry, I'm not good at picking up accents. What does the Quebec accent sound like?

  • its less tighter around the lips and less enunciated than parisian french. and the intonation is different too. quebec french intonations tend to rise at the end of sentences. not always, but more common than in european french.

but her accent isnt exactly quebec french. it sounds like it at some points, but you can tell she's not native.

  • For the French the Québec accent sounds like the spoken French language in France 200 years ago.

It's cool to see the same language evoluting differently on different continents.

  • the men who interview her has a quebec accent

  • he's herby moreau a famous black french canadian journalist

  • heuu yes i know, im from quebec i know him why do you tell me that?

  • @Guildou

    i think so too

  • @Guildou isnt she canadian loll thats how i speak french or any canadian forr that matter

  • @Guildou her French accent is not really from Quebec! it's also from France!

  • @Baronofcelts no it's sounds alot like english Québécois trying (really well) to speak french. Props to her :)

  • @Baronofcelts no she have quebec accent more.

  • wow that's very good !

  • holy crap she is hot.

  • elle est vraiment étonnante cette eve !

  • Doesn't matter that she learned French in Alberta. It all depends on who you learned French from. I know someone who learned French in Halifax and she has a Parisian accent.

  • On voit qu'y a l'accent québécois XD !

    bravo =)

  • vraiment ignorant.

mais le clip, ça gère grave.

  • Trop Mignonne

  • Her french is very good. Love the quebecois accent, very sexy!

  • that's not a quebecois accent.-she's not from Quebec...lover her, but.she sounds like she's trying to come off as French.

  • she sounds sexy speaking french. :D

  • Dude, she is SO GOOD! Obviously she has a kinda weird English/Quebecois/French accent but she seems so comfortable, which is incredibly rare!

  • I'm french and yes she has the typical Quebecois accent, but I'm really impress, she has a lot of vocabulary, and she doesn't hesitate!

    -

I knew she spoke French but she is better than I thought!

I can't hear her english accent and she has an accent from Quebec! I love her and she is a great actor!

  • OH MON DIEU !!!

  • god i love that french

  • hottie!!! haha she's so gorgeous and soooo good on lost!!

This woman is perfect; inside and out!

  • OMG...that's too cute. I love her accent.

  • with the canadian accent but it was good french!

  • OMG she speaks very GOOD french !! we love her in France and we love LOST

  • So hot

  • Est vraiment cute.

Chanceux son chum le hobbit/matelot/rocker-has- been/fantôme.

  • omg, shes so awesome, i love her from Lost!

  • lol! she has a very good "quebec french" accent xD

    "parles francais toi?" mdr

  • She has a canadian accent when she speaks french that's so cute !!

  • Because Canada is awsome!

  • I'm not sure if everything's right but I'm from France and not from Canada and it's harder to understand her because of her Canadian accent =)

  • Here's the traduction:

E: Oh do you speak french?

Journalist: Yes I speak very good french

E: Yes I'm trying it's so hard but it's not perfect all the time...

J: Did you come for the rehearsal?

E: Yes I'm here to practise my lines because I've never presented in advance to the ceremony (she gets a bit messed up here).

J:Where did you learn to speak french?

E:In Alberta! Even in Alberta (I don't really get what she wants to say next) but it's been 13 years since I speak french so I forget a lot

  • I think she says "I was in a immersion program when I was really little." after she says she learned French in Alberta. But I'm not sure.
