There were other voices added in the US version that weren't in the Japanese version. For instance, Peach's voice (Leslie Swan) wasn't in the Japanese version.

Woah! Nintendo actually spruced up the original Super Mario 64 logo before hiding it in the stage-selection screen.
It even had a purple 64...wow.

I was making fun of it because Beta was a hugely unpopular/obsolete format by 1996.
Super Mario 64 and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (both shown in the vid) were my first games for the N64. Great memories there.
