Ok, if they agree that she is going to have sex with him in exchange for food, then yes, sure, but how often does that happen? In a normal date, the woman has no obligation or expectation to have sex later that night. I have taken women out for dinner many times without expecting or receiving sex later that night.

No Brothels are regularly examined, and inspected with many regulations. Poverty? No. It gives out many jobs, sex workers, maintenance, managers, bouncers, health inspectors, medical examiners etc.. Spread of disease? STI control is very strict, and workers are regularly checked.

The morality issues in my mind don't often lie with the act of prostitution itself but with the deceit that often follows. What I'm talking about is overall deception. This could be playing off your prostitution as something else entirely, not telling the other person you have an STD, and even the expectation of being paid with drugs or taking the money earned and purchasing drugs with that money. I've got nothing against marijuana but cocaine and other related drugs do cause many problems.

Prostitutes make a living with what they do. Going on a date is a form of recreation. Prostitutes sleep with pretty much anyone, because that's their job. The morality issues in my mind don't often lie with the act of prostitution itself but with the deceit that often follows. What I'm talking about is overall deception. This could be playing off your prostitution as something else entirely, not telling the other person you have an STD, and even the expectation of being paid with drugs or taking the money earned and purchasing drugs with that money. Here's the thing. The sexuality of a woman is MUCH more valuable than the sexuality of a man. Think about it. A woman pays most of the cost of making a baby - the calories that go into that baby come from HER body. In addition, once she is pregnant she can't reproduce any further. Finally, she also bears all the health risks associated with reproduction.
