We are not to keep circumcision because those rituals are part of the Law of Moses, not God's eternal Law. The same goes for stoning (a law under the Mosaic Law). We are under the grace and mercy of God now, which means more is expected of us. Also, read Isaiah 66:22,23 - the Sabbath WILL be kept on New Earth. On a side note, not trying to digress from the question. I was going to share with you an interesting thought in the 1st psalm which i read. In it, it mentions 2 distinct groups; the wheat & the tares in a sense. It mentions the way of the righteous is blessed & why; also the way of the ungodly. The way of the righteous being through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, He is that way, the substance of the law & testimony of God's Word. 1) Where does it use the Hebrew word for Sabbath in the ten commandments? Nowhere, it simply says Sabbath day, seventh day of the week. The Sabbath was instituted before sin entered in this world, not after. Genesis 2:2 does say that the 7th day is the sabbath (rest day). Also, you are mixing the book of Moses which is the book of the law with the 10 Commandments. Be careful! The Sabbath was established during creation. The Sabbath was made for man to rest, and spend time with God. We are not to keep circumcision because those rituals are part of the Law of Moses, not God's eternal Law. The same goes for stoning (a law under the Mosaic Law). We are under the grace and mercy of God now, which means more is expected of us. Also, read Isaiah 66:22,23 - the Sabbath WILL be kept on New Earth. As for the last question, Loving God and Loving your neighbor fulfills all 10 Commandments. In no way did Jesus abolish God's Law. Read Matthew 5:19 and Matthew 19:16-22. God Bless.

In it, it mentions 2 distinct groups; the wheat & the tares in a sense. It mentions the way of the righteous is blessed & why; also the way of the ungodly. The way of the righteous being through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, He is that way, the substance of the law & testimony of God's Word. Even Paul said that in 1 Corinthians 7:19 3) John 8:7 He who is without sin among you, let him cast a stone. 4) Revelation 11:19. What was said to be in the ark of His testament? 1) Where does it use the Hebrew word for Sabbath in the ten commandments? Nowhere, it simply says Sabbath day, seventh day of the week. It is taught nowhere that SDAs teach that from Adam to Moses kept the Sabbath, for they did not know of the Sabbath until Mount Zion. 2) We do follow circumcision, we do not use sacrifices because Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice on the cross, and sacrificing animals would be dishonering that, and we do keep the passover still. No stoning because of the 6th C.

The Sabbath was instituted before sin entered in this world, not after. Genesis 2:2 does say that the 7th day is the sabbath (rest day). Also, you are mixing the book of Moses which is the book of the law with the 10 Commandments. Be careful! The 10 commandments doesnt talk about stoning people for breaking the sabbath, its the book of the law, which was nail to the cross. Do you know what got obliterated in this new covenant???

The Sabbath was established during creation. The Sabbath was made for man to rest, and spend time with God. Its not about not doing certain things or you are gonna get in trouble, its about having time with God, and putting the world on hold. Yes God made all the 7 days of the week, but He did not bless all the 7 days, He only blessed the 7th day, not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th, 6th, NO HE BLESSED THE 7TH AND HALLOWED IT. Then He wrote on the tablets that Moses was instructed to carve out of the mountain. Remember the seventh day to keep it HOLY, six days shalt thow labor. #5 The 10 commandments are not the law of Moses. Exodus 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying... Moses was a messenger. Jesus did quote the entire law and broke it down to two. Love the Lord your God, which are commandments 1-4 and love your neighbor are commandments 5-10. If I love my parents, I will honor them. If I love you, I'm not going to kill you, steal from you, lust for your belongings, lay with your wife or lie on you. We still have to keep the law brother Romans 13:8-9.

You can't stone someone because you'd go to jail for one. For two, Jesus died for everyone that they might repent. So if the wages of sin is death, then Jesus paid the debt. That's why its important to believe on him and his work. That his blood covers the sins of a person that repents. #4 No kingdom can operate without laws. The kingdom of God will be here on earth. If you've given your life to Christ and decide to worship other gods, then you have committed adultery.

I just came across your videos and I'm not too sure on your beliefs after watching this video. I'm not SDA but I do keep the Sabbath. Animal sacrifices were nailed to the cross Daniel 9:25. We still have to keep the Lord's feast days as well. I don't know if SDAs do or not.

The reason why the Sabbath is in the Ten Commandments is because God knows everything and knew that men such as yourself would misunderstand the truth. It is for this time... ok the sabbath was on the 10 commandments wrote in stone, now they are wrote on our heart. Jesus never got rid of them he leveled them up which is what fulfill meant. I. E. just to look at a woman in lust is adultery, hating your brother is murder etc.. In the last day in Revelation, it says here are the patients of the saints who keep the commandments of God. Satan was wroth with the woman which symbolizes church who keep the commandments which are the last remnant church. Ceremonial done.

Every commandment in the Ten Commandment is equally valid, our (SDA) view that sunday worshippers are mislead because the devil designed your worship styles and day... Not saying sunday followers are not saved. The Bible says he has sheep in every flocc, another point also is that more people are lost than saved.... @eaglesbow In addition : Before sin there was no question on when the Sabbath was. Moses along with the israelites knew when the Sabbath was but it was intended for God's people in the future. imagine if there were no Ten commandments, we would all be going to church on the same day (Sunday). Furthermore, we all as sinful human beings know that killing, stealing, and lieing is wrong... They are still Commandments from God. Sunday was never ordained or blessed by God

As far as the animal sacrifice..... Jesus was our sacrifice. Jesus was the innocent lamb that was slain for our sake so we dont need to do that anymore. The Mosaic law is the law that was hung on the cross because Jesus fulfilled all those requirements that we needed to be saved.

Q4: Well the ten commandments are not rules too break but rules to follow. So it seems your church preaches you to break the ten commandments.
Q5: Because in sabbath school they tell us all the commandments are special you break one you break them all.

For the sake of discussion, even if it wasn't observed pre-Exodus doesn't make it any less valid to be kept now. There are no commands pre-Exodus to not worship other gods, not to take God's name in vain, not to steal, no commands to honor parents.
Also, there are no pre-Exodus command forbidding incest. So if you think that you don't need to keep Sabbath since there was no command pre-Exodus, then you must also conclude that its ok to commit incest since there was no pre-Exodus command.

Let me start by saying I'm a SDA.
1 (this is actually 3 questions lol): In Genesis 2:2 the Hebrew word shin-beth-tav is indeed found - usually translated as "rest". You can't argue from silence - so just because there is no command found pre-Exodus, nor examples found pre-Exodus doesn't mean that it wasn't observed. A person can not make an assertion one way or the other - we just don't know.

Brother, your confusing Mosiac Law with GODS Law. God didnt tell us to stone anybody. That was Moses's way of FORCING the hebrews to obey GOD. by fear of death! GODS law is eternal, it is required for those who seek the kingdom of GOD. THe LAW however, is not required for eternal life. All that is required for eternal life, is having a good, loving heart and doin unto others how you would have them do unto you. You fufill the requirments, because by having a good heart, you have GOD.

The ONLY WAY to enter the Kingdom of God is through complete and total faith in Jesus Christ and HIS death on the cross for me and my sins. HE DID THE WORK by keeping the WHOLE law PERFECTLY. He kept the law of God for everyone. So therefore if you believe HE DID THIS then you will be saved. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. My good heart is not the way into the Kingdom of God! K
