It's me Ali again, is it possible to make an official tour to your farm? I am in Beijing, China now, will be back in Uzbekistan by mid of January, If it's possible, I'd like to visit your farm and get some training there. I can pay for the training,
Thank you millions for the reply, and it is very helpful in my winter fish production project. How to keep the water temperature stable, to avoid not to go below zero level, or keep the temperature that is good for fish growth,,, From my experience fish don't grow fast in cold temperatures, but does it also depend on fish type? ( I keep carp, fresh water carp) .
Is water circulation helpful to keep the water temperature stable?
what is the temperature of the water? can fish still gorw in this kind of shallow pool? and how about oxygen provider? water filter system in the pool? feeding system? growth of the fish?
@aliuzbekistan Hey- this is my Dad's farm in the video. The temperature of the water can range from 8 degrees celsius to 18 degrees. Oxygen is supplied naturally in the water, but we try and increase with simple blowers + oxygen stones. The 2-foot waterfalls every 100 feet also add some oxygen. The drop every 100 feet also provides some areas for the manure to gather, which we suck up and put on our front field. Fish are fed by hand, as well as with the green fiber-glass feeders.
Impressive vid! I am from Uzbekistan, planning to set up a fish farm, and need hatchery , small size for a small farm. Can you give some tips about construcitng small size trout hatching equipment, or any manufacturer you recommend, and water filter system in the hatching basins?
Excellent video! I've been involved with the industry for over 25 years and Jim is indeed one its pioneers. The fingerlings and fish Jim ships support a vibrant industry of like-minded pioneers that provides employment and economic opportunities to northern communities.
Fantastic fish operation! So much information! Thank you!
