  • I love this is the trains fault bet the rails where ther years before the road.

  • Freight train rolling through the middle of a city street? What is this; Inception?

  • Nice RS3L

  • I had an imbecile jump right in front of my camera once, yelling at me that I couldn't take pictures of a train! By the time I got him to move, the moment had passed, and so had the (very rare) train. And people wonder why they get their asses kicked!

  • I would've said, "Dippin? Do you see tobacco in my mouth?" lol

  • People eh?!!

  • although you had to endure some madman's rhetoric i still loved the video. i think you should've kept rolling film. i love those K5's

  • bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla blaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

  • "They come through here real fast, and was dippin'" Yeah well no dip retard, you look down any railway with a train comin at you at a high speed you'll see it looks like it's bobbing up and down. -_- It's a natural thing with railroads. I'm sorry rsideballa75, but whoever that was, you shoulda knocked them out. lol.

  • I had this guy off on me and the conductor because he always get stop by the train every day its kindly funny every time i see him he dose guess he thinks i work for the railroad

  • Lol I love how you took a ruined video, and made it about how the video got ruined. You sir, are resourceful.

  • Id cut the cam and tell him "Sir, get lost and quit being nosy!" Ill bet he wouldnt of said shit had we not had 9/11.

  • why do people feel the need to start yattering when you are filming....was filming an amazing T-storm in Grand island NE, when some woman stepped in front of me and asked about "cyclones" dropping down and what should we do...she left, and a man had to start talking to me about the storm...video ruined....

  • it's cool that it runs down the middle of the street

  • Thousands have lost their lives since the camera was invented. Stop train derailments. Ban cameras now.

  • It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the general public is when it comes to RRs....

  • how the fuck are both top rated comments by the uploader

  • @cavinjames I'm a beast!

  • too much Bud Light????

  • Oh my gosh hes taking pictures of a trian! It's going to derail! Hahahahahaha dumbass of the day right there.

  • Lol. Wat a retard.

  • I remember the samething up here on the BNSF in my hometown here in Minnesota? We had a city council member say in our local paper about how the rails push down and said there's going to be a derailment! BS! That's how the rails are and if they don't know anything about how the rails flex? They need to say nothing!! Another great video here! Thanks for posting!!

  • which town?

  • what a dick

  • if u see this dumb ass again tell him the rails dip down to bar the weight of the train

  • Just say something like "I am taking pictures of the train", and move a few feet forward.

  • What was the leading locomotive?

  • @cheechchongfan97 NS 9591

  • My biggest regret in life is that I never drove a train like this.

  • Wow. He called you "boy." What a complete dumbass.

  • I would have told him I am recording the horn and to be quiet, and take it from there. What a dumb ass ,call the city, dip in tracks.

  • I hate that when Im standing by the tracks, train is coming, and I have a camera in my hands. Then they ask me what im doing. Sometimes they ust ask whats going on, I tell them s trsis coming then they go away.

  • he just sounds like an older bored and lonely guy who is fixated on the trains because he doesn't have anything else to obsess over. I don't think he was trying to be malicious just, compulsive.

  • Damn, too bad That horn was sweet.

  • geezzz gawd SHUT UP DUDE!!!! LOL.

  • what a cunt! Id love this to happen in britain!

  • @claypiesexygod me too

  • well 10mph is considered restricted speed & they go just that fast in Ft Collins,CO Down S. Mason St & btw? he a MORON! lol

  • WTF?

  • Wow. Did that guy in the video call you 'Boy'? Dude must've been running late for a Klan meeting!

  • Nice work, but you need to work on your anger issues. This is supposed to be fun.

  • This same shit happened to me and my friend at the Montebello/Commerce Metro-Link station, stupid security guard bitch was like "You cant take pictures here, you have to get a permit from the city" Fuck that puta!!!

  • Haha, The ignorance of the world amazes me daily. Kinda good video though.

  • Very Funny the odd terms general people use to railroad stuff... Rails dont operate, tell me if you see them do something odd though!

  • Awsome vid. I myself have been approached b4 and its just amazing how many people dont mind their own biz. Call the city? He obviously needs to get a life. Thumbs up for the nice shot!!!!!!

  • Have to love people... (sarcasm) Would have been a good video (Still is, asides the guy)

  • Wow, this guy is pretty ignorant, not minding his own business! 10mph street running will not cause derailments, especially under concrete!

  • Oh, his conversation was OK. I found it interesting to hear his observations and complaints. When somone began talking to me, I have placed my finger to my lips, "shooshing" them and pointing at my camcorder and then train. They immediately understood. Just do the same. Please show the signals. Are there any signals which stop traffic? Or does thengineer count on the crossbuck signs and his horn? I'd like to see the whole situation. This was fine. Don't be upset about it.
  • I always dread stuff like that when I film in Ashland (VA) - some folks actually have stopped their cars to keep from going in front of the camera while I was shooting though, so there ARE a few nice ones out there. Reminds me of last year's Railfest at Horseshoe Curve too - I stayed away from the Curve most of the time, because every 10 minutes...'Hey, watcha doin'? You filming trains??'

  • This was where?

  • Did anybody noticed that the Dash 9 in this video sounded like it had a Leslie horn on it?

  • @harrodsburgNSfan Thats because it did. That would be a Leslie 3 chime, buddy. Somewhat rare on NS C40-9W's but they are out there.

  • I once waited 3 weeks to catch a CSX southbound move on a track used about twice a month near me, also with the right sun angles! This Jerk off starts talking to me, and even when i told him i was filming and how rare the shot was he kept going on and on. Then to top it off his dog ran into my tripod! People are Nut's!

  • stupid rube with nothing better to do

  • interesting video

could you check out mine? if you like my videos you should subscribe, lol well keep up the good work and have a nice day :)

    -jamez

  • he is such a bumass for talking that just kills the vid

  • You are just rambling. I watched the video, as in England (where i am from) street running is another term for la parkour. I expected to see something go wrong in that situation. I found the video boring, and not what i expected.

  • hey dickweed get off the vid comments for this great railroading vid and stop making an ass out of your self just to let you know that railroading is the best thing and even there is a slow train going down the street

  • I only keep coming back to this because of the idiotic, half-arsed attempts at being abusive towards me.

I will end this with this statement

This video is boring, if you find it interesting, you lead a sad sad life. If you reply to this comment you are an idiot. Stop ruining youtube with such retarded comments and boring videos. I am right, you are wrong. Good day

  • @iamnotlame I don't know why people are being such asses towards you. You came to this video expecting to see something different and a train running down a street was not that, so yeah to you thats boring. Your not trolling like most people saying stuff like that. But that last comment was not good though I like this video but i don't lead a sad life. But hey I think you only said that because you were frusterated :).

  • For some reason, I cannot see this video using Adobe Flash Player 10.

  • lol that sucks. But still a good video. I woulda just ignored him.

  • I dont get what was ruined.

    What was supposed to happen?

  • The guy wasn't suppose to come and interrupt my video with his stupidity...

  • I asked what was supposed to happen, not what wasn't.

  • You asked what got ruined...the video of the train coming down the middle of the street was suppose to "happen" which it did....the guy came up and ruined the video with his blabber mouth....does that answer your question???

  • What are you talking about? The train IS Street Running....

  • Man if you don,t like to watch street running train videos don,t watch it go watch spongbob.

  • You should change your hobby

  • You,er the one bitchen about slow trains not me I kinda like this video except for that stupid know noughting guy talking if you don,t like trains don,t watch the damn video find somtthing els to do instead of blasting rsidebella 75 his train videos are great if you don,t like it go watch the muppets or go bite a big sauage

  • And you should change your attitude towards other people's hobbies. If you don't like, don't watch. Nobody MADE you view anything.

  • Well your wrong...and I'm glad you liked it!HAVE A GREAT DAY!

  • And YOU should go FUCK yourself...how bout it???

  • A mature and well thought come back. About as exciting of a comeback as the video...

  • LOL YES!

  • @rsideballa75 Yeah baby!

  • @iamnotlame More like street running NS is awesome!

  • @iamnotlame No, more like the title he has.

  • @iamnotlame ur an ass go away

  • It murphy`s law, you will wait for an hour, no one will walk past, the minute the train comes around one corner out they come ! Good video anyway, Thanks

  • You should have told him to buzz off. I told some dude at Union Station to shut up when I was taping Amtrak the other night. What a jack ass.

  • so who do i talk to the city, and dead

  • haha, hilarious.. always a good time talking to the locals

  • are you filming trains i would say no i am filming cars and train tracks of course i am filming trains

  • hahaha pardon my french but bastard is preety damn dumb. honestly dose anybody know just how the graniteville derailment happend. it wasn't no dippin track thats for sure,i very much dislike people how come and talk like they think they know shit lol. but nice video by the way =]

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!

  • My favorite is when people come up and ask me if I'm waiting on a train. THen they proceed to talk to me about, but I have meet a few interesting people that way, and heard a few good stories about the railroads from random people. But then again you get the ones that just talk about non-sense.

  • Wow, that was not cool. Jeez, that just ruined everything.

  • The horn was excellent, the shot was framed beautifully, the location seems amazing... but you seriously should've hit that guy with a piece of pie or something. What a moron! I've had assholes like that pester me up here on the NorthEast Corridor, but geez! NS! I hope you don't have to deal with morons like that again. Great video, and I hope to see some more street running soon!

    Kyle

  • A couple days ago during my trip back I was taking some pics during our stop at NY Penn and some Amtrak employees who were hitching a ride to Metropark saw me and started bothering me about it. They started saying stupid things like "Are you taking pictures for the FBI or something?".

  • I'm TELLING you man, it's just the New Yorkers. Everybody else could care less...well, not EVERYBODY, but you get the picture.

  • Well it IS just New Yorkers because mind you the day those Amtrak employees bothered me was only a few months after that incident at Penn Station where the guy got arrested for taking pics there. I'm sure that story lingered among Amtrak employees on the NEC for a while.

  • Haha, are you insulting me??

  • Do they call the authorities to get you kicked off the platforms too? Because that's all the locals seem to do back in CT when IIIII go out and shoot trains. :P

Here in Massachusetts, everybody that I've met seems to be real cool about it. Sure, some may think you're weird, but they'll keep the conversation going and change it up, and not shove pointless 9/11 crap down your throat.

  • I don't railfan that much though I was questioned at Jacksonville once. Now CT is a mixed bag. Some places you're probably bound to get called on because people might think you're some bum just hanging there "causing trouble". This is especially true in Fairfield County where nice towns can be very close to run down high crime rate cities. Now go to Mystic and you can probably sit at the station all day and not be bothered. In fact I'm thinking in a town like Mystic you could even make friends.

  • Yup, you nailed it. So far, everywhere I've been on The Haven, cops have been called at least once per each location. As you stated, that's why I like everywhere ELSE in CT better.

  • Have you been to Stamford? My friend Dash9CW goes there like every other day. He's never bothered, but I think his trick is telling the cops upstairs what he's doing beforehand. That's only something you can do at major stations like that though.

  • I've actually never railfanned Stamford yet. But it that's true, then that's the only place on the Haven that you can do it, except maybe Bridgeport, I've never tried there either. All I know is, you CAN NOT do it at New Haven, I've already had my problems around Thanksgiving there haha.

  • I've done it at New Haven and Bridgeport. There are two things crucial to not getting questioned at those stations. One is the time of day you go and two is how long you stay. If you go during rush hour yes you may get a lot of people in your shots but you'll also blend in (unless you bring a tripod of course) and if you're not there very long they don't have time to notice you're not just another passenger.

  • lol, what a putz

You should have kept rolling though...no reason the runby had to be ruined as well. Once the train is going by the rumble will drown him out.

  • That's what I would have done if I were the guy behind the camera unless some other person started a conversation with me.
