If you have actually heard real didgeridoos, be it eucalyptus/agave/hardwood, and think it sounds the same as PVC, your level is idiocy and lack of a musical ear stuns me.

I would hardly say no one gives a shit about it just because is isn't a p opular instrument. I never said I was obsessed with them, I just know that real didgeridoos have a different, warmer sound. It has gotten me on stage for live performances several times now, which is a great life experience.

Maybe YOU need to find yourself an intelligent "mate" who can get you to not butcher the English language.

Look up Xavier Rudd, then say the same stuff about the didge. He has mastered it.

He never said it sounds the same. I agree that the traditional didge does have a warmer sound to them.

That being said, there is a bit of fun in constructing your own pvc didge, and it is an inexpensive alternative to the 150 USD option I have. And yo can learnto play the didge just as well.

It's amazingly simple to do; just make a raspberry with your lips (you know, that thing you do where you blow air out of your mouth while it's closed and spittle gets everywhere). Kinda like impersonating a horse "whinneying."

Needless to say, playing the didge can tend to get a little...juicy...at times, but it's fun as hell!!
