@markbotv3 Uhm no...actually traditionally ethanol is created by using corn or sugarcane, not alge. There has been some expermentation using some forms of wheat or straw but not alge. Get your facts (and spelling) straight before attacking someone else.

@DianT1701 lol wtf are you talking about i WORK at an algae ethenol plant and we have been in business since 1993. and have been providing comercial ethenol since 2004. with two plants and three more under construction. SPECIFICALLY to eliviate the land use issue. our 8 acre plant produces as much ethenol that 70000 acres of corn would yeild. USING ALGAE. think before you speak

Instead of telling all of this stuff in a boring voice in a conference room, Michael Crichton should get on the Daily Show so that somebody would actually hear him. He has the exact same problem than Al Gore: he's too boring. Boredom is actually the only thing Al Gore and Crichton have in common. Al Gore is a true believer of Global Warming, Crichton beleives it's a load of shit. Here's an idea: get these two on a live televised debate and have as many people listening.
