um gee whiz, all these comparisons to NIN & KMFDM & whoever else, of course there's gonna be similarities, it's a GENRE...& there's got to be enough room in your heads to like a few bands from the same genre, doesn't mean they're copying each other....
Does anyone know what the mix of this song is called. This isn't the album version. This was on a Wax Trax tape when i was young and i've always tried to get this version of the song.
@RenLB Hmm, I think it must be on the Burn disk, its the only one I don't have Though I know you can digi dl from amazon(if your into that sorta thing)
Underrated, yet one hell of an amazing songwriter! Chris Randall is definitely an industrial-rock icon with the likes of Trent Reznor, Sascha Konietzko and Al Jourgensen
Really? They broke up? No way. I'm upset now. I dunno, Sister Machinegun did have just as much good stuff as less poppy stuff that mainstream audiences wouldn't understand.
Yeah Chris Randall is still a hero of mine and the Micronauts stuff he is doing is so much different. I love it, but nothing compared to the ol skool Torture Technique stuff
Agreeing with the last few comments, this version really bothers me. It's terrible compared to the album version. It's like a bad remix with way too many layers. And the female voice is off and distracting. Maybe they would have gotten further if they had used the real version for their music video. But then I probably wouldn't like them as much had they been mainstream-successful and in the spotlight :P
Sister Machine Gun has disbanded. Chris Randall created his own solo project. It's not so bad, but old school Sister Machine Gun is way better. Albums like The Torture Technique and Metropolis are my favorites.
This is an awesome track. Sister Machine Gun really deserves more recognition.

if people think they sound like KMFDM you have to understand they all produced on TVT/WAXTRAX at one time or another probably sharing studio space.
also...
you can find some of their other stuff on Metropolis Records.
