I can't believe some of these comments. Yes animals torture and kill their food, but that doesn't make it okay for us to do. Animals don't know what's right and what's wrong, that's what separates us from their world.

Humans are ruled by the instinct to survive as well, it's just not as basic as some animals. Due to us being very social animals, the "way you're raised" is really just how a community survives. But enough of that, I'm glad to see you don't have a really narrow view of this issue like many seem to have on these videos. Not a whole lot else I have to say on the subject though, but I love KFC.
I used to 'catch chickens' as a child with my family. This DOES happen and is not a lie. And they are treated poorly, the team we worked with kicked them around, they was bratty teenagers. Once I walked into them 'playing a game' they all had a chicken and would see who could kill one the fastest by ringing their neck.
Being friendly to them wasn't the way to work, needless to say my family didn't stick with that job. The idea was to grab them by one leg and 'throw' them into the crates.

I agree about stopping the abuse of animals in slaughterhouse, but I disagree about stopping meat consumption. Too keep a creature alive, some other creatures has to die. Do you know how many worms will be killed if we keep a chicken free & alive? So you'll save the lives of hundreds of worms when you eat a chicken =p
going vegetarian isn't the answer, simply buy free range meat. Is is healthy to eat meat if it is high quality. Sure, this cruelty is beyond belief, but high quality free range meat is fine.

it's a scientific fact there are certain animals out there that are too 'dumb' to perceive everything as a human would. Like I said, unlike dogs, horses, dolphins...Chickens are too low down there to perecieve this as we would perceive it.Are you a vegan? If so - thats okay. If not - all animals go through death in the long run so they can end up in my our tummies =)
